Our boys enjoy it as well & the rest of the children; nothing big but good enough for even adults to some fun. One hour would be more than enough.

I'll keep this simple. If you're in Anchorage don't miss this especially if you have children of any age. Lots of interesting and fascinating stuff. The rest of the museum is great too!

I saw just as many adults playing as kids, it was nice that they had a planetarium too. I thought having an area for toddlers brilliant.

This place is like a dream for children. There are so many things for them to do. And I love that so much of it is educational and displayed in such a way that the children can actually learn something. For example, the giant bubbles that teach about water tension. Amazing! My little one who is an iPad addict can... More

Great place for the kids to spend hours to explore science and enjoy themselves. Parents can take some rest.

The Imaginarium is part of the Anchorage Museum and my teen boys loved it. Hands-on, fun science. Reasonably priced. The ticket to Anchorage Museum covers admission into the Imaginarium as well.

That's the most helpful thing I can tell you. The Imaginarium is inside the Anchorage Museum. It was never really clear from my guidebooks and the internet that it was physically in the Museum-- you pay the Museum entrance fee and then make your way to the Imaginarium section. My two kids are approximately 6 years old and we spent... More

This is mostly for kids. The staff is really good, and the environment is very safe. If you have kids, they will love to spend a different afternoon, besides, they can learn so much from it. Well, I did... lol

Kids of all ages can do lots of hands on experiments here. Very cool. Giant bubbles and kinetic energy, giant ball drop, all kinds of cool science stuff, and plenty of benches and bathrooms nearby, too.
