Love this place!

Lots to touch and play with: bubbles, hot air balloon, vertical chair, etc. There's so much to do outside of the Imaginarium too: Spark lab, planetarium, and the 5 and under area.

Wonderful now that it is part of the museum. My son loves to go. Fun interactive activities - makes for a great Saturday outing.

This is by far the best part of the museum and the kids enjoyed it. I was disappointed to see that they no longer let the children touch the sea stars or other aquatic life in the the tide pool exhibit; the giant bubbles were a big hit as was the tsunami maker. Most of the science was well above... More

What a place to learn science, building and just plain having fun. Many things to do there and all are hands on and fascinating for the old and young alike. Well worth the visit. While your at it one of the best museums to browse Alaskan artifacts and art. Memberships single or family available. One of my favorite places for... More

Great place to go in the winter when it's cold outside. There are not only amazing science experiments and animals for them to see, but also some gross motor equipment for getting out the wiggles. Definitely a must do with kiddos!

My kids faces lit up when they saw all the awesome interactive exhibits in the Imaginarium. My daughter was enthralled with the "jumping" video and my son loved the volcano and the big bubble. We could have stayed for hours more.

Take the time to play with every exhibit. You will walk away with a wealth of science and physics knowledge! This place is fascinating. And don't miss the exhibit about passenger pigeons just outside the Imaginarium.

We had a great time here. Thought we would only be here for about an hour but we had too much fun to leave so quickly. We probably spent the most time playing in the bubble room. We worked very hard to perfect our techniques so we could envelop ourselves inside of a bubble. We also had a great time... More

As a former science teacher I vote this a plus for any family, wanting to expand the mind of children and yes even adults. This complex in the Anchorage Museum offers a variety of learning experiences. It will be easy to supervise your children since ther is open spaces. My 3 1/2 yr old grandchild found many things to explore and... More

It was well thought out with many points of interest for our children, it was stylish and attractive, highly interactive and educational. Most importantly, it was cooler and more fun than all the other imaginariums we've been to. Amazing that it is in a little city like Anchorage.
