Great afternoon spent with my family! My grandson loved it as did his dad and I. Lots of hands-on experiences, lots of exhibits. Heartily recommend it!

We took a group of Boy Scouts who had never been to a science discovery center before. They had a blast. We didn't end up having enough time to visit much of the museum. If you go with children or youth, make sure you have three or four hours. They also have a great planetarium.

Such a wonderful hands-on experience for kids, even the little ones. I take my grandchildren again and again and they love it. Parking can sometimes be a problem, though. A good place to go during the winter.

This is vastly improved from when our kids were little (25 years ago). We took our 3 yr old granddaughter, and showed us around. She loves going there which is the best part.

We went to the Museum for the day and I really enjoyed the Imaginarium with all of the hands on displays. The explanation given with the display as to what it was showing was also heplfull.

We were in Anchorage for a few days and my 5 year old could not get enough of this place. The only draw back is that it is a little pricey ... you need to pay for a full museum admission to get in.

We used a couple coupons fro the Northern Lights coupon book to save a couple admissions but it would be a great value even without the savings. We brought bag lunches. The spacious lockers were free. My 2 boys had no interest in the artwork or Alaska history or Denali climbing history which were all included in the imaginarium price.... More

The older children seemed to really enjoy themselves here. I have a 16 month old who was not too interested in many of the science experiments. There was a place for her to play with things to climb on, an area to play in the water, and blocks and those types of toys to play with. Overall there were too... More

Another great thing to do downtown on a rainy day. The hands-on approach makes it great for grandparents to take grandkids to, as well.
