We use Trail Ridge Air exclusively when we go to Alaska. Love the friendliness of both the pilots and the ground crew (including the dogs!) They are very professional and have one of the best safety records in Alaska.

In August 2015 my son and I took our second fly-in fishing trip for northern pike with Trail Ridge Air. And it was an absolute blast again! We caught lots of fish and my son caught one over 30". Super Good Time. Trail Ridge Air is the best.

What a wonderful flightseeing adventure!! We had the pleasure of flying with Casey Hill at Trail Ridge Air. What an experience!! Casey was a wonderful pilot and he shared his knowledge and love for Alaska. We flew over Beluga Bay and over the Chugach mountain range, over many glaciers with their blue beauty and saw several herds of sheep high... More

We were a bit apprehensive about flying in a float plane, but the take off, landing, and ride was the smoothest we've ever encountered in a small propeller plane. I'm sure the perfect weather made it easy, but the flight and views were great.

On a family trip to Alaska, we were booked for a glacier landing on Mt McKinley out of Talkeetna, but Mother Nature had a different idea for our afternoon. The highlight excursion didn't happen, but on our last day in Alaska, just hours before departure, we found Trail Ridge Air at Lake Hood. It was windy out, so only my... More

My wife and I were in Anchorage early for a cruise and we have always wanted to take a floatplane tour. It was suggested to try Trail Ridge Air and they had a plane ready to leave. The hotel provided a ride to the location, although they would have picked us up at the hotel with the plane. Adam, our... More

We took two day trips with Trail Ridge Air. We went to Brooks Camp in Katmai National Park to watch the brown bears, and we went to Twin Lakes in Lake Clark National Park to visit Dick Proenneke's cabin. Both of these trips were highlights of our 16 days in Alaska. Our total experience with Trail Ridge Air was great.... More

I hired Trail Ridge Air to fly myself and two friends to a remote cabin on Tustumena Lake. Everyone was very friendly and the flght was excellent, the pilots are clearly very skilled and enjoy flying. We even took a cheeky detour to look at a local glacier. I had used Trail Ridge for a fly-in (to the same cabin... More

I arrived in Anchorage a day early for a business trip, during the "in between" season on November 1. Summer was over and the winter season hasn't begun. I wondered if I might arrange a "flightseeing" tour for myself over the amazing natural scenery near the Alaskan capital. I called five air touring companies Saturday morning. Two phoned back, and... Totally by coincidence we ended up at the door of Trail Ridge Air. We'd been looking for a reasonably priced flightseeing adventure, but were unimpressed with advertised prices we found via Google, starting at $210 per person for an hour. So we drove out to Hood Lake on a Friday afternoon to see what we could see. Driving around the... More
