Come join us on a Segway Tour of Anchorage! Take a tour around Downtown Anchorage, watch the salmon spawn in Ship Creek, take in views of the Cook Inlet and the Alaska Range, and ride through history at the Alaska Statehood Monument and the historic Alaska Railroad terminal.

Segway Tours of Anchorage provides an approximately 90 minute guided tour of Downtown Anchorage on a Segway, the gyroscopically enhanced Personal Transporter. Learning to ride a Segway is simple and fun for the whole family! Before we start the tour, your guide will lead you through an orientation and training of riding a Segway!

Some of the sites you may see during the tour include:

Stops to view King Salmon and Silver Salmon returning from the ocean to spawn at Ship Creek.

A view of the Cook Inlet, the Alaska Range, Mt McKinley and Mount Susitna at Resolution Park.

The Alaska Statehood Monument with views of Anchorage’s original town site

The historic Alaska Railroad Terminal.

Town Square in the heart of downtown with its fabulous flower displays.

Westchester Lagoon and the multitudes of migratory bird inhabitants.

The Delaney Park Strip and Centenial Rose Garden.

The Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

"Star The Reindeer," our local resident and mascot. And Yes, she is a real reindeer!

Don't miss out on this great, fun-filled experience in Anchorage!

Though I lived in Alaska (Anchorage) for 25 years, I've been away for 15. Back for a trip down memory lane, we decided to take the Segway Tour. At $85 for visitors and $65 for Alaskans, the 90 minutes we spent on the Segways was a lot of fun! We didn't need a bunch of talk about the sights and... More

My family did the Segway tour our last day in anchorage. We got lucky as there was a very large group but our family was split out with our own guide Drew so we had a private tour. My husband and I have ridden before but my older son had to learn and my younger son got to ride a... More

Loved this tour with the very knowledgeable tour guide. There were two other people added to our group of 4, would be more fun with just us. Very easy to ride, even my uncoordinated self picked it up really quickly, 90 minutes of great fun. Nice views.

We booked this last minute as we were tying to find things to do before a late flight home. They were very accommodating since it was last minute. We had a beautiful day once the rain cleared. This is a great way to get around and see Anchorage. Our guide was very informative and a lot of fun.

Only had one afternoon in Anchorage so we figured a Segway tour would be a fun way to hit the sights. Paul, our guide was a great guy (and probably the only middle school woodshed teacher with all his digits intact) and had us up an running on those Segways in no time at all. After a trial run in... Having never been on a Segway before, we were nervous. To make matters worse, you start off seeing a video telling you what not to do and what could happen to you. Then we met our guide/instructor. He politely laughed at us and told us not too worry. With 5 to 10 minutes of training we were off. Went spent... More

We are both in our 60's and this is something fun for all ages. The tour took us all over town and our guide was great explaining the various land marks. This tour is not expensive for the time spent on them. Great fun.

We had a blast. Two of us had ridden a Segway before and two had not. After a 10 minute lesson we were all ready to go. Fun tour guide and great scenery. I would go again if in the area.

This was our 3rd city segway tour and it wasn't as good as Nashville or New Orleans, but there is more to see in those cities. It was ok. Best part was seeing part of the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail. Didn't go by the Ulu Factory or much downtown.
