Segways just look like fun - and they are! SegTours does a good job of training newbies and then taking an almost two hour tour of your choice. First, sign some forms regarding liability and responsibility and then watch a short video that explains Segway operation. You get a clean helmet that fits and go outside to practice. Our guide... We've done the Golden Gate Segway tour but this was even better. What a great way to get around downtown Anchorage, learn a bit about the city's history and identify potential restaurants/watering holes for socializing. Not only informative, but if you haven't ridden a Segway, they're easy to use, maneuverable and people that see you on them think it's really... More

My blended family consisting of two in their 50's,one in her 40's,and three teenagers closed out our cruise with this adventure. All enjoyed it immensely. Excellent instruction. Well done.

party of nine, they fit us all on. From learning to get on and off to flying down the trails. Alot of fun and easier than I imagined. Fun way to see the city

We took this tour for fun, and to see a bit more of the area. We had ridden Segways before and had enjoyed it. These were more basic models, but were still easy to ride and maneuver. Our guide, Mike, had us ride in small circles and figure-eights to confirm that we could handle them. Then we rode in narrow... More

As others have said, what a hoot! We had never done a Segway tour before. Our guide was great about teaching us how to do it. It was really quite easy to learn. They start slow and you pick up speed as you go through the tour as you get more used to using the segway. Our guide took us... More

One of my favorite tours in Alaska, a must do if in Anchorage. We did a 9am tour … it was fairly warm when we started but a jacket was needed as the cloud cover moved in. The Segway’s are easy to learn and an absolute kick to operate. I was expecting to get tired from standing, but the tour... More

Have done other Segway tours on vacation, these are the older models that have to be steered as opposed to leaning; but still lots of fun. Great way to do a downtown Anchorage tour. Guide was great and allowed me to get a little speed, while she stayed back with other tour participants. A must do while in ANC. Once... More

We had two 40 yr olds, a tween, a teen and a 70 yr old. Everyone caught on quick and enjoyed the ride. Best value tour in AK. Would like to see them update to newer models as they are more natural to maneuver.

I am now hooked on Segway tours and wish I had done them in other cities I've visited. Alan was very patient and trained everyone before we departed. This was a cool way to see Anchorage and get a quick history lesson.
