Breath taking view of Gracious Alaskan Mountains was magnificent. We enjoyed rail tour very much. This tour was including the breakfast and so eating our breakfast and viewing the scenery at the same time was very enjoyable. There are about 10000000 big and small Glaciers in this Mountain Range and we saw lots of them. Imagine theh Creeks flowing here... More

We splurged for the glass top roof tickets, and they did not disappoint. What a beautiful ride! The narrative given was very helpful and informative (Rachel and a boy from Anchorage whose name I can't remember were on our train, and both were knowledgeable and well spoken!) The seats were comfortable and roomy, but we especially enjoyed getting to stand... More

A train ride on this last flag stop railroad in the U.S. provided us with breathtaking views of magnificent landscape along the way. Our 4 1/2 hour ride was comfortable, beautiful and luxurious . We dined elegantly, received fascinating narration from a guide throughout our journey and saw unparalleled beauty in luxury. Waiting to board the train also afforded us... More

There were six women in our family that took the train from Anchorage to Denali. My husband and son in law drove vans and met us there. We had so much fun. We were on the Gold Star Dome which is quite expensive but includes all your meals. Kinda hard for me because I am gluten free so I did... More

We took this 9 hour train ride to Denali following a Princess cruise. Beautiful scenery and lots of laughs with the staff. There is a lunch car with full menu for breakfast and lunch plus an array of adult beverages.

My father and I boarded the train in Anchorage and went North to Denali and we couldn't find anything to improve on the journey. Both our rail guide Ryan and our bartender Andrew were the definition of hospitable and were quite funny and made the 8 hour trip fly by. The drinks (both alcoholic and not) were very refreshing and... More

We took the train from Anchorage to Seward to board a Norwegian cruise. It was very convenient and the scenery was among the best on the whole trip. One thing to note is that our hotel staff and drivers kept telling us that there was no train station at the airport. There is and that is the only place to... More

A 4 hour trip on the wilderness express was a finish to our Alaskan adventure. The glass roofed car gave magnificent all around views while relaxing in comfortable and roomy chairs. The host was very personable and gave just enough commentary to keep things interesting. (Some times you just want tour guides to shut up and let you enjoy the... More

We highly recommend this as part of your trip to Alaska! It was beautiful way to see the country and relax along the way. We recommend splurging and purchasing the Goldstar seats to get the best view and experience.

This is the most enjoyable way to travel to Denali. Relax and watch the scenery in comfort. We road in the adventure class going and gold star for the return. The food was excellent in the dining car with great service.
