Me and my family had a great day in Prince William Sound we saw a family of Orcas and Humpback whales too. Plenty of Sea life on this 4 hour excursion, Sea Lions and Walrus, and birds. Lots of drinks and snacks on board and less than 20 tourist made for ample space and a comfortable ride. more

Must tour Prince William Sound if in the area. We used Prince William Sound Cruises and Tours out of Whittier. Fantastic 6 hr tour with abundant wildlife, great naration and knowledge by the captain. A good lunch provided in the pkg. Courteous staff! This is where we saw more wildlife than any other area or tour. more

We took the train from Anchorage to Whittier then boarded the two-level boat. Sit-down seating ranges from two-person booths facing out (what we had and what I recommend) to six-person booths on the inside and outside. Food service (chicken, hallibut, or a vegetarian option that must be called ahead for) was fast and friendly. Bar service was also available. Coffee... more

I took the ferry from Whittier to Valdez, and lucky for me it was a beautiful day. We saw quite a bit of wildlife and the Columbia glacier (receding quickly). Great experience! more
