We go to Prince William Sound every now and then to go shrimping and salmon fishing. The starting point is Whittier. We love the wilderness and scenerery that affords Prince William Sound.

Stunning views....i recommend visiting Whittier and taking a cruise. There is a cool tunnel...2,5 miles long you need to drive through to get to Whittier.

If you can only go to once place in Alaska, go to the Prince William Sound. The college fiord glaciers are spectacular! To watch the glaciers calving is a once in a lifetime experience!

Small village with shops dotting the road. A must for a break in journey. The gift shop, ice cream shop were good.

It was rainy, foggy, and did I say rainy? Saw the briefest glimpse of a whale's flukes. Saw some sea otters and sea lions, a couple of eagles, and that was it. The food was pretty good. They have tables and windows all the way around the catamaran, but if you're stuck in the middle section, you have no window... More

Ok, so let me preface this with we have friends in Alaska that happen to have a boat. I understand that not everyone visiting Alaska will get to go out on a privately owned boat. That being said, I feel like it would be worth it to take a day cruise because it seemed like the cruise boats went the... More
