It was a cold, rainy and foggy day and we still absolutely LOVED our Prince William Sound cruise from Whittier which took us to Surprise Glacier. We even heard the glacier calving which shook us to our core! A must

I took a national park tour (by cruise) to Kenai Fjords National Park. Saw puffins, bald eagles, sea otters, sea lions, humpback whales, and orca killer whales. And of course glaciers! it was a fantastic trip! Do not miss it!

On a perfect day with the sound like a millpond the views are spectacular, the wildlife plentiful and commentary informative. Even though it was a sunny Autumn day, make sure you have very warm clothing if you intend to stand on the forward deck (and you need to,it is sensational) with the boat at cruising speed. Gloves, wind proof jacket... More

This was the first visit to Alaska for my wife and myself. We could not have asked for a better introduction to the awesome natural beauty - and its wonderful people - then when we decided to do the Prince William Sound train excursion and glacier cruise. Although we had a rental car, we decided to take the train in... More

The crew did a good job of narrating the many points of interest and history of Prince William Sound. For the entire 12 plus... More

Phillips 26 glacier cruise is the best introduction to the prince William Sound. Narrated by a National Parks ranger. Included a delicious Alaskan cod lunch.

The glaciers were amazing. We took the 26 Glacier Cruise and only saw a fraction of which we would have seen if it weren't so foggy and rainy...as promised, despite rough seas, we did not suffer motion sickness. Beautiful area!

Our first full day in Alaska ... we traveled by train from Anchorage to Whittier to take a cruise on Prince William Sound to see Surprise Glacier and more. We had a beautiful sunny day on the 4th of July and this was one of the highlights of our time in Alaska. We were on the MV Fairweather II on... More
