we went on a day cruise out of Valdez and it was really nice. The crew on the boat were wonderful. The lunch was a little lacking, you had a choice of clam chowder or vegetable soup and a bagel, with oreo's for dessert. Kind of a strange combination to me. I would do it again. Saw lots of eagles,... More

What a beautiful place to visit- for both wildlife and glaciers.. We took the 26 Glaciers cruise and it was worth it.. The surprise glacier was the best!! Apart from seals, sea lions and sea otters- we saw dolphins- that made our day. Thankfully, it was a bright and sunny day.

Took the 26 glacier cruise on the high speed catamaran. It was a beautiful sunny day so we were able to see all 26 glaciers. Great experience. Don't forget to take binoculars.

everything in alaska is soooo big. it's so beautiful and we had so much fun, we want to go back. everyone should go on a norwegian sun cruise to alaska, and soon the glaicers are melting.

Awakened to arriving in Sound. Was so peaceful and serene. Saw a grizzly on shoreline and then a glimpse of whale? rolling at surface. That will get you awake!

We recently returned from a spectacular, wonderful experience aboard the Discovery. My family (mom dad and two teen boys) was aboard for a kayak and hike voyage, and it was all we could have dreamed. Captain Rand knows everything about the Sound, and steered us into safe harbours every night, and spectacular glaciers and wildlife during the days. Food and... More

We fished for halibut out of Valdez on Prince William Sound, and it was absolutely gorgeous! And we caught a lot of halibut! Worth the 6 hour trip from Willow, AK.

Take the ferry across...it is great! Go to the upper deck and grab a lounge chair...bring a sleeping bag if the weather is cool...it is worth it.

Nice, comfortable 5 hour trip, spectacular scenery, and you can take your vehicle. Lots of room to move around the boat, or grab a comfortable seat and take a nap.

We have visited Blackstone Bay by Kenai Star of Major Marines. Kenai Star is a beautiful vessel with heated cabin and spacious. We liked heated cabin comfort very much. During the cruise we saw Tide Water Glaciers, Hanging Glacier and Kerriwake Rookie. We had very near view of few Glaciers and stayed near them for longer time. Of Course if... More
