I've been fortunate enough to see every inch of every bit of shoreline in Prince William Sound. This place is a true sightseers gem. I've traveled a long way to see country that can't hold a candle to what I've got in my own backyard. Yes, there was oil, and yes, you can still find some if you go looking... More

We took a day cruise and saw the calving glaciers. It was a wonderful trip, and I'd definitely recommend it to a friend. We all ought to go see the glaciers before they completely disappear.

Neat little trip if you are from out of town. Took my parents out here in August, they taking pictures and learning the interesting facts about the city. Also did one of the Glacier Cruises, it was kinda pricey but neat to do once if you are visiting or new to Alaska.

We took a deluxe catamaran tour on the Klondike Express from Whittier to Prince William Sound. The vessel was great and meals and drinks were included. We saw some whales, seals and lots of sea lions. The glaciers were amazing - specially the blue glaciers. We were also rewarded with a beautiful rainbow above the mountains.

Humpbacks, Orcas, puffins, sea lions, otters, you name it you'll see it on the "Wildlife Cruise". Even the snack lunch that is provided on the boat is ok.. We had the fish and chips.

We visited Alaska last week of August 2012. On our first day, we drove to Whittier from Anchorage to take the cruise to Prince William Sound with Major Marine. It was a very good experience. Weather was in our favor that day which is considered very lucky in Alaska. Getting into Whittier itself was a pleasant drive, very scenic and... More

Worth going to see great glaciers, abundant sea life - probably will see eagles, killer whales, sea otters. The mountains rising out of the oceans- and think, this doesn't have as much as it use to
