Pretty good, we went on a weekday which meant we got 4 hours for the price of 2! Quite strenuous as we took a right under the bridge and went to Lake Washington. Didn't follow the initial directions properly to go left. Kayaks were good quality and there was places to get changed. You keep all valuables with you in... More

3 of us went kayaking and it was awesome! We paddle out for about 10 minutes and we seen an otter which was cool. It was pretty awesome because seaplanes were flying right above our heads and landing in the water right next to us. Great place to kayak as it was very calm.

Go here! Our family of 5 (3 kids) went here, some to kayak, some to SUP. It was easy for each to do their own activity, keep track of kids, etc. Also, quiet corner of Lake Union was nice and low on waves for SUP. Some of the lowest prices around and they have a 1 hour minimum. Many places... More

If you find yourself in Seattle, you have to get out on the water! There is a lake right in the middle of the city and you if you get a chance, go enjoy it. You can kayak around for a bit and then get a bite to eat at one of the many restaurants right next to where you... More

I still love kayaking on Lake Union and the surrounding waters and Moss Bay is a great choice for boat rentals. However, they recently ended their boat share program, due to increased insurance costs. This was extremely disappointing to us, having participated in the program the past several years. I will continue to recommend Moss Bay to anyone looking to... More

Amazing place to kayak. Got to see the lake-houses as we paddled across the lake, and a mix of small and big boats cruising by. The waves were surprisingly strong, and it was sometimes fun to kayak behind a boat to ride the waves behind it. We were easily able to get to Gas Works Park from the lake (~20-25... More

My friends and I went Kayaking on Sunday of the 4th of July weekend. It took about 30 minutes for them to get us 4 single kayaks. It took us around 90 minutes to go up to the Fremont bridge and back again (about 4 miles). We had a great time. Seeing all the other boats, planes, and ducks in... More

There are lots of places to rent kayaks in Seattle but Moss Bay is my favorite. Always have kayaks available, friendly staff, great location, reasonable rates and after you kayak you can grab a beer on the patio of A Terrible Beauty.

My cousin and I rented paddle boards here last month and the entire experience was fantastic! Instructions were clear and the equipment was in great condition. Super nice staff!

What a great day on Lake Union. The kayak was sleek and fast. We paddled the periphery of Lake Union in two hours. A beautiful day. The facility was easy to get to and the attendants excellent. Thanks for a nice outdoor day in Seattle.
