This beach park is beautiful any time of year. The top parking lot is ideal for viewing magnificent sunsets with the Olympic mountains in the background beyond the Sound. The beach has a lot of driftwood, rocky areas, and a few softer sand areas. We normally just go for a walk along it, but if you want to sit and... More

Saltwater Park has something for everyone including a great beach, great play structure for the kids, one of the nicest picnic areas in the area, fire pits, grills a shelter and bathrooms. Add to that lots and lots of views of the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound and the best sunset views around and this is a must visit. There has... More

This park has a lovely beach, lovely playground by parking lot, lovely hill side picnic sight with small walking path. Awesome stairs you can run (if you're into that fitness stuff). Many great choices one location (with public bathrooms too)

We were hoping to see all the sights along the beach but it was closed for maintenance. It looks like a lovely area from the parking lot with kids stuff, washrooms, and pathways. The view from the top parking lot is spectacular. It is good that there is upkeep happening....a necessity for the upcoming season.

Visiting family in Shoreline, on the north side of Seattle, and we went as a group to Richmond Beach Park. What a nice place to spend an afternoon! Great views of the Olympic Mountains, nice trail for walking. A beautiful park set aside in a potentially busy part of town. Walking distance to the library in Shoreline, and also from... More

A little out of the way park, with beautiful views. Small beach with wonderful driftwood and ice cold water. Water was crystal clear. Wild blackberries everywhere were delicious.

The only positive thing I can say about this campground is that is cheap and relatively close to Seattle downtown (approximately 15-20min drive). The camp is underneath an overpass and is close to the (very busy) Seattle Airport, so it is extremely loud. If you stay, just be prepared that it won't be a quiet and relaxing visit.

We came here on our Spring Break trip. We have a Discover Pass and this is the first time we used it. We as a family wanted to see ocean life in tide pools. Our trip here did not disappoint. We happened to come by as the tide left and we got to see Mussels, Crabs, Clams and Snails. We... More

I landed at this park by accident in May of 2010 and had a wonderful time all by myself. I strolled as the rain drizzled over my head from the beautiful forest right to the beach. A great place to take some time to yourself and absorb the beauty of nature.

When our friends asked my husband, an ordained minister, to officiate at their wedding they said they wanted something simple for just friends and family. Since they were on a budget, I volunteered to do the photography. They rented the upper terrace area at Richmond Beach Saltwater Park. When we arrived we were blown away by the spectacular view of...
