If you travel by air, you will love the non hustle of using the Clipper. I would not travel any other way. From city centre to city centre. No car required so you save high parking costs! More

As a Canadian visiting Seattle, I had to find a way to get back to Canada and renew my passport in a last-minute emergency sense. Turned out to be the greatest thing to happen on the trip! I booked a very reasonably priced round-trip and hotel package on the Victoria Clipper. Victoria is a great place to spend a day... More

We booked a trip for our 25th anniversary to Victoria through the Clipper. It was a great way to travel. Our hotel that we booked as part of the package was terrific. We added a trip up to the Butchart Gardens which was easy and the gardens were lovely. The ease of the travel and all the arrangements made through... More

We used a Groupon to schedule this trip. Good way to advertise! We would not have known about them otherwise. The boat was comfortable and the crew were pleasant. They ran out of hot dogs and chowder at inopportune times. They didn't have XL tshirts. I really wanted an XL tshirt. But those things are small. The best thing was... More

I was challenged to find the most time-efficient, cost-efficient and comfortable way to get my mother to and from Victoria from Seattle for a quick weekend trip. She wanted to see the lovely Butchart Gardens. Being nearly 90, we wanted to minimize travel time. The Clipper offered the best option: just under 3 hours to and from by boat. The... More

Very pleasant trip, with a narrated tour of Puget Sound en route. Crossing the Islet of Juan de Fuca, the tide was going out while some stiff winds were headed in. The six foot waves made most of the passengers seasick for a half hour or so. They had meclizine for sale on board for a quarter a dose; I... More

This was our 4th time on the Clipper (although our first trip to Friday Harbor for whale watching). The ships are always clean, safe and smooth. The staff run the gambit from pleasant to indifferent, but no one has been rude. Things that keep it from a 5 star rating are: 1. allow printing of boarding passes at home (like... More

We took 2 tours with the clipper - we did a day-trip from Seattle to Victoria, Canada, and also did a gray whale watching tour. Both experiences were great. Felt safe. The staff is professional and courteous. The boat was clean. You can buy food and drinks on the boat, including alcohol. They also sell t-shirts. Arrive early to get... More

Save your money!!! This is the WORST company to deal with! VERY rude customer service. If they make an error they will REFUSE to fix it and blame you for it so BUYER beware!!!!!!!! Made reservations right after purchasing a deal. I called to find out about adding another child passenger to our fare and was told that our reservation... More

For special promotional rates, such as those purchased through Groupon, we require bookings to be made in advance of the voucher expiration date. While we recognize that mistakes can be made, we searched both our reservation system and call log and found no record of either a reservation or phone call being placed prior to the expiration of the voucher.... I frequently make the trek to Seattle to visit family with my yorkie terrier on Kenmore Air, who doesn't charge a pet fee. I was going to make a switch to using the Clipper to save some money, but I was shocked to find out they charge a $20 "pet handling fee" EACH WAY for a dog that stays in... More

Thank you for your feedback and mentioning our staff. It is always good to hear that we are providing friendly service. We are sorry that you were dissatisfied with the pet fee. Being a passenger only ferry, we have space limitations that other transit options may not be subject to, therefore, we require pet reservations. The pet fee is in... More
