We really had a fantastic tour that included the history of Seattle and how the underground began. The tour of the underground itself was quite interesting and the walking tour of the area was fascinating. Our tour guide was extremely interesting and entertaining! The best part, we had a small group (10 - 15) so it was more intimate and... More

We saw a flyer for Beneath the Streets tour and decided to give it a try. The history lesson was quite interesting. Pioneer Square has some seedy looking parts and other parts that are being refurbished with restaurants, clubs, galleries, bars and other businesses. Our guide told us that this area was formerly known as Skid Row. He explained how... More

In its logging heyday, Seattle was mostly destroyed by fire. City leaders took the opportunity to rebuild the city 14 feet higher than before to alleviate some of the chronic flooding they had faced. In doing so, many of the original storefronts were left below, and are now "beneath the streets." This tour takes you into an underground "city" of... More

Our guide, Richard, was very entertaining and knew a great deal about the city, both underground and above ground. Great recommendations for other attractions, answered all questions. My two teen boys (17) were engaged and kept talking about what they learned throughout the day. Very good way to spend an hour - and centrally located!

This was a really informative tour, our guide was engaging and knowledgeable. It takes you both under and over ground, so you need to be mobile, and lasts about an hour. And wow did they pack a lot into the hour - 3 different sites plus commentary in between. It's a really great way to hear the history of the... More

I knew my hubby and I would like this tour, but I wasn't sure if my 2 teen daughters would like it or be bored. They really enjoyed it. They thought the history and the stories were interesting.

Interesting, informative, enjoyable, quick. The small group size makes for a great atmosphere for jokes and questions. Dave is a great guide. He even helped us out with our plans after the tour. Would recommend!

Loved this tour. It came highly rated from many friends and lived up to the hype. Dave was a great guide. Purchase tix online or we walked up and they fit us in. Fun. Family friendly. Interested I. The night time one too.

We spent several days in Seattle doing many many thing but this was one of my favorite activities. My 13 year old daughter said this was her favorite part of the trip and continues to repeat some of the jokes our guide Dan told. I loved the energy level, the small group and the volumes of history he was able... More
