Just a block away from Pioneer Square, this is a fun tour. Learn a lot about Seattle's history while peeking into some shady places. Fascinating look at below-ground skylights and storage space, complete with musty smells and dark passageways. Book early, as they often sell out. Tours every hour from 10:30 til 3:30.

Excellent value, entertaining and knowledgeable guide, and small number in group all combined to make this an educational and memorable experience. Good weather also helped!

Tour guides deliver an interesting one hour historic tour of Seattle's underground city. Must be able to walk up and down steps several times. Lots of photo opportunities. Musty & damp. Wear shoes with good trends and take a sweater.

There was some interesting information presented during this tour, though not as humorous as others had described. Basically, you're trudging through current smelly basements and storage rooms to get a view of the city's historical infrastructure. It wasn't bad, just not as engaging as I had hoped. Not something that I would especially recommend to someone who was going to... More

We've been to Seattle in the past and were always interested in one of these below surface tours we were hearing about. We went to talk to our concierge at the hotel (Tom at the Paramount) about the Underground Tour which is the bigger of the companies which provide these excursions. He said to try Beneath the Streets instead as... More

I did my research and discovered this tour is the one to take to see the Underground Streets of Seattle. We had 7 people in our tour and passed countless tours from the competitor with 30-40 people in each tour trying to keep up. This tour is $3 cheaper and 15 minutes less time (you don't really lose the time... More

We looked at both this tour and the other higher profile tour offered in the same neighborhood in Seattle and went with this one as the price was slightly less expensive. The rouhly 90 minutes that we spent with our guide Jerry was marvellous. I had always heard about the underground city and areas of the South Downtown region but... More

This is THE best underground tour of Seattle--definitely. I took family there this time--it was my third visit since last year. The tour guides are entertaining and very knowledgeable. I recommend taking this tour first if you are planning on doing other things because knowing something about the history of the city will enhance everything else you do. The guides... More

I was so pleased with this tour and especially the small size of the group. The company does this on purpose and it makes a difference. The intimate group that went on the tour all had the time and the attention of the tour guide. I have also been on the other popular underground tour and it is also good,... More

John R., Thanks for the fantastic review. This is exactly why we keeps our groups small! As guides and owners we have always believed that smaller groups make for a better tour experience. Your review validates that belief, and our business model. Thanks! Happy guests are why we are in business. More

My husband and I really enjoyed our small group tour (10 people) on a 1:30 pm tour on a Friday. The tour was lively and interesting. We learned a lot about the history of Seattle and saw The Comedy Underground at our final stop. We highly recommend this tour!
