This was a really interesting and immersive history lesson that took about an hour. We learned about the real first floor of Seattle and how it got to be where it is today. I learned a TON! Our guide Carly was energetic and fun to listen to and she was a fantastic story teller. Side note: If you're afraid of... More

I can't believe I paid money for this tour. There is very little to see on this tour, just junk stored in some dirty, musty basements in the old buildings of Pioneer Square. The tour guide knew the history of Seattle, and he was friendly, but there was nothing to see. The area where the tour starts has some weird... More

Pioneer Square is the touchstone for local history. This tour allows you to become immersed in the city's formative years. It is fun for children, with enough substance for adults. Pioneer Square is not for families during the night hours, so plan your family visit in the daytime and enjoy the underground tour experience.

First, it is actually approx half (or less) that you actually stay underground, most of the time is walking around the streets. Also, the projector didn't work! but might be only for that day. The tour guide speaks too fast. You can get a $2 discount if you go near Pike Market Place and asks for some tours.

Guided tour under ground for a look at Seattle like you have never seen. It's amazing. The history that's shared the smell that is horrible all leads into the experience a Seattle must.

Its a good hour to spend with some of the history of the place , and they show you what's beneath the streets, but don't expect ghosts or something like that, there its not treasure or something else, its mostly for history. You can spend this time early to do something else in the day.

We chose this company because of the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were not disappointed! Our tour guide was Chuck and was not only very informative, but also quite entertaining! I had no idea about the history of Seattle, but learned so much on this tour! Be sure to go to the Beneath the Streets company so you will have... More

We had a great time today on the Beneath the Streets Tour! The guide was funny, knowledgeable and clearly loved his job. Since most of the tour is indoors, it could be a good rainy door activity. Definitely a fun experience with the family, with friends or on a date. I wouldn't recommend it for small children or people with... More

Carly was our tour guide. Don't get confused with the "Underground Tour" around the corner. Those are more expensive and in larger groups. We had the typical Seattle rain for the duration of the tour. Carly knew her stuff and delivered it in an engaging manner not to mention with great humour...although that may just be Seattle's history... We walked... More

Treat yourself to this tour which takes in the (often humorous) story of the city of Seattle. Sometimes it's is amazing what's just under your feet. Guide was absolutely excellent. Tour is not too taxing in distance or stairs. Small size of the group made it feel more exclusive.
