My wife and I just moved to Seattle and wanted to learn something unique about our move home. We chose Beneath the Streets because of the good ratings on TripAdvisor and Yelp, and it was clear why people enjoy this tour as much as they do. We had a small group of 5 at an 11:30 a.m. tour, which was... More

This was an awsome experience. Sometimes we think that, what we see from a city is what the city has always been just renewed or remodeled. But to go underground and to see part of the old Seattle beneath the streets is something very interesting. Dan was an excellent guide, he really knew the history and you could tell he... More

We are from the Seattle area and learned some fun and intimate history of its beginning. Seeing some of the underground areas was enlightening.

I took a similar tour about 24 years ago. It was very different then., most, if not all of it was under ground. This one had a lot of above ground walking, in fact, most of it was. However, the guide was super knowledgable about the history of the city and the architecture. The differences in then and now, I... More

We are from the Seattle area, but decided to take a family outing beneath the city. Our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. You could tell he had a passion for the history of Seattle. We found the tour interesting and fun - and educational. We loved the smaller group size. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

A fascinating view of Seattle's history. We've previously done "Seattle Underground" and found the tours complement each other nicely - much of the same information, but each tour includes information that the other excludes. Highly recommended.

Abrub, Thanks for your kind review! We agree: you can take our tour and our competitor's tour, and hear different stories about different parts of Seattle history. No one could cover it all in 60 or 75 minutes! Plus, each tour has different underground areaways that they visit. More

Lots of historical and contemporary facts crammed into an hour. Wasn't a huge fan of the underground section that smelled like rats but it was a really interesting side of the city to learn about. Bring a warm coat as some of the tour includes street level walking.

We did this hour-long tour with a mix of seniors, adults and kids. As part of a group numbering maybe 20 or so, our guide did a great job walking us through several sections of the Seattle underground and the Pioneer Square area. It was eye-opening for our visitors and informative for the locals in our group. The "development" of... More
