The tour beneath the streets of Seattle is fascinating and should have been so much better than it was. Unfortunately my tour guide was awful and ruined the experience for me. The history itself is really interesting, the archival photos posted on the walls are worth looking at, and the chance to walk along a sidewalk ten feet below street... More

Our tour guide was a wealth of information about the early history of the City of Seattle. I'm an engineer, and a history buff, and found it quite interesting how the historic area got its start. You won't be disappointed.

Our guide, Dan, began our tour with an informative, introductory film before leading us through their building. We then proceeded to tour and learn about the original settlement of Seattle. He also led us above ground, to the new level of the town, the one that was built after the original buildings burned. Dan was funny and helped make the... More

In Seattle before our cruise, a friend had recommended this tour and so glad he did. It was a rainy day (go figure) so it was good to get underground - though you do go outside as well. The tour starts off with a talk about Seattle which is very funny and entertaining - thanks, Mary! Then we broke out... More

SunFunSun, I think this review was intended for the other company that offers tours beneath Seattle; we don't have a tour guide on our staff named Mary. The other company is called Bill Speidel's Original Underground Tour. Their tours are similar to ours but they visit different underground locations than we do. Additionally, we keep our groups smaller so you... More

At one hour, this is a fast-paced talk and walking tour of Seattle's early "first level" days. Our guide was entertaining, clear, and well-informed regarding the material he covered, and had a good number of amusing stories. The tour is chock-full of talk from the guide, though we were able to ask questions, which were answered to our satisfaction. The... More

Lucy was our wonderful guide in our group of 14 people. This was the main reason we wanted to attend this tour-their group sizes. They advertise smaller groups and it was great. It was not so great with the small bored and loud children that attended. I would NOT recommend this tour for any small children. It is located in... More

Found this tour on Trip Advisor and decided to take the chance, especially since it had such good reviews. This was a fun and different way of learning the history of Seattle. I was bowled over especially by the old photo on one wall...downtown after the fire. Only a few walls left standing, including the one the picture was hanging... More

We selected this tour rather than the other one - Bill Speidel - as this one was smaller. Our group was very mangeable, and we were able to easily hear all that our tour guide had to say. It was very interesting - lots of the history of Seattle. I am really glad that we took the tour.

Maybe it was my fault that I had higher expectations, but their own flyer says, "Guided tours of the mysterious passageways below Seattle's Pioneer Square". There wasn't much in the way of passageways, just three separate basements that you had to walk the streets to get to, then go down to a basement and afterwards back up to the next... More

Jerry was our tour guide this time around. At first, I looked at Bill's Underground tour also featured here on TripAdvisor, but when I saw that this was the "newer" tour which started in June/July of last year I figured newer is better. We find out in the tour that Jerry used to be the senior tour guide for Bill,... More
