Been on loads of tours over the years but this was the best one yet. The subject was interesting and the locations 'different' but what really made it was the guide. His presentation and style made the whole tour memorable. And the smells in the cellars? Well you need to do the tour :)

Excellent tour given by Chuck. Very informative, personable and fun! Small group of only 8 of us. Took about 80 minutes and never felt rushed. Chuck did a wonderful job of answering all our questions. Would recommend this tour over the groups of 50-60 people you see walking around the streets all in tow. Great value and would do this... We did the tour with Jerry and with a small group (10), it was a great experience. I've done the Seattle (Bill Spiedel) Underground Tour a few years ago and wanted to give this one a whirl. Both are good but this new tour is well done, informative and very interactive. Jerry knew his stuff and even got a "well... More

This was a nice change of pace from other city activities. It wasn't very expensive and didn't take a lot of time. It was interesting to hear about the history of Seattle and actually see how the city was changed after a fire wiped everything out. The walking wasn't difficult. The smells were a little strong, especially in one of... More

Just a block away from Pioneer Square, this is a fun tour. Learn a lot about Seattle's history while peeking into some shady places. Fascinating look at below-ground skylights and storage space, complete with musty smells and dark passageways. Book early, as they often sell out. Tours every hour from 10:30 til 3:30.

Excellent value, entertaining and knowledgeable guide, and small number in group all combined to make this an educational and memorable experience. Good weather also helped!

Tour guides deliver an interesting one hour historic tour of Seattle's underground city. Must be able to walk up and down steps several times. Lots of photo opportunities. Musty & damp. Wear shoes with good trends and take a sweater.

There was some interesting information presented during this tour, though not as humorous as others had described. Basically, you're trudging through current smelly basements and storage rooms to get a view of the city's historical infrastructure. It wasn't bad, just not as engaging as I had hoped. Not something that I would especially recommend to someone who was going to... More

We've been to Seattle in the past and were always interested in one of these below surface tours we were hearing about. We went to talk to our concierge at the hotel (Tom at the Paramount) about the Underground Tour which is the bigger of the companies which provide these excursions. He said to try Beneath the Streets instead as... More

I did my research and discovered this tour is the one to take to see the Underground Streets of Seattle. We had 7 people in our tour and passed countless tours from the competitor with 30-40 people in each tour trying to keep up. This tour is $3 cheaper and 15 minutes less time (you don't really lose the time... More
