Our guide Chuck was excellent- very knowledge and easy to understand. They keep the group size small so you don't miss anything. Lots of opportunity to ask questions. Would definitely recommmed'

We recently took advantage of the “Beneath the Street Tour”. We made reservations for the 1:30 tour on a Friday afternoon, February 13, 2015, and our tour director was Emily. She spent a few minutes getting to know the group before departing on the first of three underground areas of the city, the first of which begins right here. Emily... More

Beneath the Streets markets itself as the newer tour company on the block with smaller tour groups than its competitors which makes it easier to hear the guide, ask questions, and generally move more quickly and easily from place to place. Having been on the other tour, I can confirm that this is the case. After a brief introductory spiel... More

Thanks mmul21! Glad to see our emphasis on smaller groups is having the desired effect. We think it truly does make for a more enjoyable tour experience...for all the reasons you mentioned. More

The tour was very interesting and worth the price. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had much to say about the history of Seattle. I was a little disappointed that the tour was more above ground than below.

This was really fun! It was very informative and interesting. My friend & I booked three different tours (food, ghost, & underground) from three different companies, and this was our favorite one! We loved the small group (the main underground tour can have up to 47 people--ours had 8) and having an experienced guide. Would definitely recommend!

The tour starts in a shared location on Cherry Street. The shared location was a little spooky for the kiddos (Spooked in Seattle). The Beneath the Streets tour went to several locations in and under the historical Pioneer Square neighborhood. Our tour guide, Lucy, was incredibly knowledgeable and fun. We learned about the history of Seattle's beginning and saw things... More

My wife and I just moved to Seattle and wanted to learn something unique about our move home. We chose Beneath the Streets because of the good ratings on TripAdvisor and Yelp, and it was clear why people enjoy this tour as much as they do. We had a small group of 5 at an 11:30 a.m. tour, which was... More

This was an awsome experience. Sometimes we think that, what we see from a city is what the city has always been just renewed or remodeled. But to go underground and to see part of the old Seattle beneath the streets is something very interesting. Dan was an excellent guide, he really knew the history and you could tell he... More

We are from the Seattle area and learned some fun and intimate history of its beginning. Seeing some of the underground areas was enlightening.
