This is a special little place in Seattle - once you enter it, you'll forget you are in Seattle. This Parisian store sells all sorts of cute French stuff for home & personal use & select wines. Took the macaron class never having made one before. The class made 3 types, 1 savory, 2 sweet. Excellent, hands-on class, with wonderful teacher (Muriel) and extremely helpful assistant (Kelley) and very fun participants. A glass of champagne and a sample of each type of macaron along with some to take home to "show off to family" made the time... More

I took my 9 year old son for Muriel's cooking class for kids and he absolutely loved the class. He enjoyed the attention he received and was very excited to have the opportunity to be part of the whole baking process from kneading the dough to eating the final cookie. In fact, we happened to be at Paris Eastside when... More

If you want an interesting and fun experience in Seattle, take a class from Muriel! I took the lunch class which was just the right length (90 minutes including eating a great meal) and the right amount of hands on training. And the products in the shop will make you want to visit Paris soon!

Muriel's macarons are the most exquisite I have experienced. Her precise technique coupled with her warm presence creates a fulfilling result... quite a treat for the senses!

What a pleasant experience. The owner Muriel gave us a warm welcoming, Her place is clean inviting and inspiring. It was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon learning to make my favorite dessert. I would def recommend taking a class here! She offered us some delightful wine to go with our sweet treats and has been generous with her... More

Last time, I was looking for a hands on baking class so glad we found Paris Eastside. Muriel's class was so much fun and was exactly what we were looking for. I learn how to make macarons, eclair, and crepes. It was so much fun and I enjoy it. The macarons were delicious, and the filling was very good, my... More

My friend to have a shared experience instead of exchanging gifts for our birthdays. We were looking for a hands on baking class so glad we found Paris Eastside. Muriel's class was so much fun and was exactly what we were looking for. The macarons were delicious. Was a fun way to spend an afternoon with a friend.

I took Muriel's cooking class during a vacation in Paris in 2008 while she lived three. I went with 3 teens (my 17 yr old daughter, and 2 15 yr old nieces) who were barely interested in the idea of cooking while on vacation. But all that changed once we were at the market, where the class began. They were... More

We spent a delightful Friday with Muriel Marguerite as our chef instructor learning how to make Veal Paupiettes(roll-ups). My husband and I had never cooked with veal before and welcomed the challenge. The finished product was delicious and we even were privileged to bring a few extra home with us as the noon meal was quite ample and included a... More
