I got my 10 year old granddaughter lessons with Muriel for her birthday. The lessons were a hit and I know the time my granddaughter spent with Muriel time was both memorable and formative. The facility is a fun atmosphere and well put together with everything a budding chef needs. The location was convenient and Muriel was great with young... More

I signed my son and I up for this class when he was looking for a new cooking class experience. What a delight!! So enjoyed out experience at Paris Eastside. Muriel and her assistant Kelly were a delight. We made a lovely lunch of a Seafood Gratin, Normandie Chicken dish with onions/apples, and a Apple Tartin. Learned some nice new... More

The first time I walked into Paris Eastside was to scope it out for a bridal lunch/cooking class we were having there. It was one of those dreary, rainy Seattle days. Inside Paris Eastside, though, it was bright and colorful. I was greeted with a very friendly smile by the proprietor, Muriel. The shelves were lined with everything French from... More

This past weekend, I had my 1st cooking class at Paris Eastside and it certainly won't be my last! What a delightful time. The group we had (all strangers to me except one) were a great group. It's easy to image taking an entire pack of friends for the experience. The food we made, Omelette Soufflee and Mango Clafoutis, was... More

This is such a fun place to take cooking class. I have taken 2 now and learned so much from both. I would recommend going to Paris Eastside to anyone. Perfect for couples, girls night or just single wanting to expand cooking skills.

I have taken quite a few non professional cooking classes both here in the states and abroad. This was certainly one of the very best! When I spotted Muriel's shop on Pike Street and discovered that it was a tiny cooking school, I knew that this bright, clean little spot would provide a fun way to spend an afternoon. It... More

I took a traditional macaron baking class with Muriel last summer and I am so glad I did. She really gives you the attention and encouragement needed to successfully make these wonderfully colorful cookies! It is clear that she is very passionate at what she does and I'm happy she shares her knowledge through her cooking store. Merci Muriel!

I recently took the Macaron class while I was in Seattle. My culinary background doesn't host a French dessert background so I was excited to pick up macaron experience. The shop is very bright and the working space was clean. As a solo traveler I was paired off with strangers which is to be expected. I would have liked to... More
