For $13 you can ride a cable car ferris wheel for 3 to 4 rotations to look out over the city. Nice vantage points and great views of the Olympic Mountains and San Juan islands on a clear day, but nice on a Christmas week night as well.

The line up moved quickly. We had a car to ourselves. The view was spectacular. We were in the car and moving for more than 10 minutes. Plenty of time to take many pictures of the bay and the city. For the price it was a great event to take in for us.

Wouldn't wait in a long line for the ride (three times around) but if timing is right well worth the view of Seattle and Puget Sound. Cars are enclosed and comfortable. If you are visiting Seattle then it is one of the must do things.

I really enjoyed the views from the Great Wheel. Since it was a little chilly out its great that the ride is enclosed. The Seattle Great Wheel also makes a great backdrop for sunset photos especially since it is so close to the waterfront.

The ferris wheel has a great view on a clear day and is a nice attraction to check out. I enjoyed that the carriage is completely closed in since it was rather windy the day I was there. The ride is pretty quick though.

This is a fun diversion if you find yourself on the Seattle Waterfront and need to sit down for half an hour and still sight-see. Seattle's Great Wheel is perfectly located at the foot of Pier 57 and the enclosed cars seat six perfectly. As you rise skyward, you are treated to a view of Seattle and as you dip... More

LOVED this wheel! was lucky enough to have gone on a day when it was super sunny and not very busy (although it was the weekend!) so my partner and I got to jump in alone without anyone else. Bring a camera for sure, you are getting lovely views of the area! The line moved quickly and the attendants made... More

Great view! We went there around dusk before the sun set in order to see the view both at dusk and night. The queue wasn't too long. Highly recommended.

We were fortunate to have beautiful weather and had the best view from the great wheel. And since it was not crowded, the attendant gave us a couple extra turns. My son and I loved it!

We went on an overcast day. No line but be sure to get your pre-paid ticket back form the check in person. You will need it when you board. Fortunately I printed a second copy because they insisted they hadn't 't taken it. Finally I gave the guy my second copy. He was happy and we boarded. The cars are... More
