Worth a drive to see the campus. The town is very small college feel. The scenery from stadium is breathtaking. I can image seeing a football game there in the fall is quite an experience

The campus is big and lovely, like the trees and architecture, both modern and old fashion. Students here seems really nice, and the neighborhood around is worth walking around as well. parking is a little bit hard to find though, you could park further to save high parking fee.

stayed in the University district several times past two years. The University is a delightful place to visit. The Quad, The Square, the Husky Union, Libraries, buildings, ups and downs worth visiting. Walking would be best option to go around. the Ave outside the perimeter has a lively student atmosphere and wide variety of eateries, Agua verde on the lake... More

I took my son to see the campus and I found it to be a fascinating place. There great architecture, parts of it resembling an English theme (almost Hogwarts-like).

Took our son here, as he is a rower for the Sarasota Crew and is enthusiastic about perhaps attending the U of W. We toured all the facilities, including the boat house and the rowing canal (Lake Washington Ship Channel) and came away impressed with the school.

The University of Washington's beautiful green campus, which sprawls by the shore of Lake Washington, is well worth exploring. It features a hilly terrain, towering trees, and, on clear days, a spectacular view of snow-capped Mount Rainier from the central fountain. Neo-Gothic buildings mingle with modern structures, and the mix seems to work. In the spring, myriad cherry trees show... More

I am on campus every day so I have seen it all. Come in the Winter and from the center of campus you can see the fountain and Mt. Rainier in the background with its snow capped peak. Or come in the spring and see the world famous cherry trees in bloom, you will feel like you are inside a... More

This is a great public university with plenty of beautiful grounds and gothic artictecture as well as some new, modern buildings with plenty of modern amenities. On a clear day, the view from Red Square, of Mt. Rainier is one of the iconic views in Seattle. And during the spring, the cherry blossoms in the Quad draw people from all... More

Campus is spread out and not like many where there is a central core and many academic buildings in one area. Stadium is attractive and the sports are a central attraction for many students.
