Spent a couple of hours walking (and driving) around the campus and area. Very beautiful. Visitor center is not open on weekends, so plan accordingly

Living in California, we are not as used to the beautiful old buildings we saw at UW. And we certainly aren't used to green grass!

The entire campus is gorgeous! I would recommend getting a tour to see all the sites! I highly recommend going into Suzzalo library upstairs to the reading room. It is nicknamed the Hogwarts room for a reason! Its almost magical!!

I enjoy the walkways that criss-cross the enormous campus. Depending upon the weather, you can see Mt. Rainier off in the distance over the main fountain. Or you can compensate for cloudy days by focusing on the beautiful landscaping that changes with the seasons. Also - one of my favorite spots is the Suzzallo Graduate Reading Room. Gotta check out... I went to take some fall pictures of the campus. This campus is not only great for learning, but it is beautiful. Spring is also beautiful with all the beautiful cherry trees.

My husband graduated from UW. We recently went back for a visit (we live on the east coast now) and were happy to see that the campus continues to be well kept. Don't miss the Suzzalo Library.....gorgeous building inside and good coffee too!

I was there for a Econ teacher conference with teachers from literally all over the world. We all explored the university and all it had to offer. The campus was beautiful. Students and staff were friendly. The restaurants surrounding the university were great. Within walking distance to the school was the best Indian restaurant I have ever experienced. The bars... The UW campus is definitely worth a visit even if you have no interest in attending. The layout is extraordinary and on a clear day, you can see Mount Rainier from the very well-planned fountain in the middle of campus. The graduate library is noteworthy if you like the historical look of the New York Public Library in NYC. I... More

Worth a drive to see the campus. The town is very small college feel. The scenery from stadium is breathtaking. I can image seeing a football game there in the fall is quite an experience

The campus is big and lovely, like the trees and architecture, both modern and old fashion. Students here seems really nice, and the neighborhood around is worth walking around as well. parking is a little bit hard to find though, you could park further to save high parking fee.
