Jake was very informative fun and the Seattle 101 tour was great. However there were just too many people and even though we had reservations five more people were added at the meeting point without It was hard to navigate the market with such a large group which was frustrating.

I booked this tour to go see what it is about. After all, I really liked the idea of pay what you think it's worth. If I didn't like it at all, I would not feel bad not paying for it, but it was completely opposite. Jake, our tour guide is the best, he is really enthusiastic about what he's... More

We did the Pike's Market tour followed by Seattle 101. Do reserve as they fill up quickly. Jake is charming, engaging and passionate about providing great tours....a little food, some "jokes," awesome tips, hidden gems and a history lesson all rolled into one. You cannot go wrong. One of the best we have experienced and we have done similar tours... More

A highly informative and interesting trip through downtown Seattle on the 101 tour. Well done Jake, its easy to make these rather boring, but difficult to bring them to life. Everyone on our tour appreciated your genuine wish to entertain and mark the experience by paying what we thought was fair. You were absolutely right about Kerry Park and the... More

I can not begin to convey how great this walking tour was for my wife and I, nor can I recommend a tour with Jake highly enough. It's an early start at 9:30, done on purpose as you see the market come to life as Jake narrates the ins and outs of Pike Place. Jake begins by describing his desire... More

We booked both the market and Seattle tours based on other reviews and we weren't disappointed. Jake is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guy who clearly loves Seattle. We learned so much and it helped to put Seattle in a different, more positive light.

Jake is very enthusiastic and loves to share insights of his city. He shares historical info intertwined with sites which makes it very interesting! We liked seattle101 so much that we decided to do market experience as well. Both are highly recommended.

We took the Seattle 101 tour. Excellent. I think there is a psychological aspect to a tour that asks for no money up front vs. a tour that will cost you, say $40. The $40 tour has set an expectation that they must meet in order to satisfy you. With the "free" tour approach you pay what you feel it... More

We made it a priority to do the market tour when we first got to Seattle and we are definitely glad that we did. Jake was enthusiastic, knowledgable and had a great relationship with all of the vendors we visited. At no point was there any pressure to buy anything and even at the end he was offering to go... We took this free walking tour that covered Pioneer Square, the waterfront & a little of Pike Place Market. It was terrific! Jake was not there because his wife was having a baby that day, but Brian did an excellent job in his place. We learned the history & other interesting tidbits that helped us to better understand the history... More
