We just checked out the new renovations at the Seattle Cinerama this weekend, on a visit to see Mockingjay Part I. Wow. This was always the nicest theatre in Seattle, but it is now in its own alternate ultimate movie theatre dimension. First, the food -- among the choices now on offer are really, really good beer, wine, Full Tilt... More

An amazing cinema. Very comfortable seats. A huge screen which is perfect of IMAX and 3D. I'd rather see a movie at Cinerama than anywhere else in Seattle.

Whenever a movie I want to see is at the Cinerama it is a done deal. The screen is gloriously huge, the seats are comfortable, the concessions are awesome, and the ceiling above the seats twinkles like stars. Cinerama forever!

Oh dear god, it smelled like baking brownies when we walked in. They have Chocolate powdered popcorn and when I said it smelled fantastic, they let me try a little coneful for free. Yum. Gorgeous interior design, super clean, great old costumes to look at in the lobby, and almost entirely empty.

Loved every minute if this older movie theater. It has a very hip local vibe and when you say you've been people treat you with a newfound cool factor!

My friend had an Indy film premier there, otherwise I don't know if I would have found this gem! What a delight to see the old theater still showing great films! The tables all face the screen, and we were pleasantly surprised that they serve real food and drinks, not just typical movie theater junk food. The food was great,... More

CHOCOLATE POPCORN... Mixed with regular popcorn and it is like HEROIN! I can't stop... It is hard to walk by this place without wanting to stop in just for that... NOW - Add that to the fact that it has one of the biggest screens in Seattle and you have (in my opinion) the best place to see a movie... More

Big sound, HUGE screen. OUTRAGEOUSLY good popcorn and staff. One of my favorite places (even if I don't like the movie)!!

A great place for movies where you really want to feel like you're in the movie itself. There is ground floor seating and balcony seating. I don't know how much bigger it actually is, but it seems to be twice the size of normal movie theater screens. Groupon will occassionally have great deals as well.

Paul Allen did a great job in refurbishing the old Cinerama. Closed now for another remodel and can not wait to see the new additions. Large venue, usually the top movies will play here. Hopefully the remodel with bring in better food (chocolate popcorn? really? smells great in the lobby, but that is about it).
