This tour was excellent. We had a small group and our guide was Faith. She was interesting and knew a lot of the history of the market and the surrounding area. We decided to go for the pay tour because it started a half hour before the 'free' tour and the group was signficantly smaller. I would recommend doing the... More

We bought a groupon and decided to join in on the one hour tour. It's a great tour and you learn a lot. So much about the history and how the market got started. Our tour guide was amazing and she knew a lot about things that weren't about the script she was suppose to tell us. She told us... More

We chose this public market tour to get a quick introduction to Pike Place. Even though we had been to Pike Place several times before, we saw so many quirky places we would not have found on our own: the community garden, the gum wall... I enjoyed learning how the stalls are allocated to vendors, it made me want to... More

Visited Seattle for a short time and really wanted to know more about the Public Market. Our guide Faith was a local and really knew her history.I have been here before but learned so much more about the Market and the history of Seattle. It was well worth the hour. We went back and toured some more since we were... More

We went on a weekday in September and had Emily as our guide. She was so friendly and educational. She showed us to much and gave a historical tour that was very informative. I am so glad we paid as the market is so large that I would have gotten lost. Highly recommended it!

We loved the Pike Place Market Tour! So much to see, eat and buy! One of the best markets I have ever been to. The tour group size was about 8 and with the personal earbuds it was easy to hear everything our tour guide said. When I might have lingered behind to take a quick pic I never missed... More

I chose to do this paid walking tour not knowing there was a free tour on offer but even knowing that I'd still choose to pay for it every day of the week. Our guide Emily was fantastic and had a great sense of humour. The tour was long enough to see everything and learn the history behind it and... More

Friendly, knowledgeable tour guide! One fear was that within the group we may not hear her - but this was no problem since the headsets we wore worked perfectly. Appreciated that the number of participants was limited; a more personal experience and we were encouraged to ask questions. We took family members from Indiana and they were impressed - however... Our tour guide was a sweet and positive young woman named Carla and we loved the fact that she loved Seattle and especially the market. She knew many of the vendors by name and shared with us many interesting facts about the market. It was a nice small group & we had headphones with audio so we could hear Carla... More
