This was a great area to visit and look at al lthe small shops. I found a few gems that had not seen before. It is oriental and the various street vendors had some remarkable products they made. Of course the flying fish and the different desserts were incredible.

I chose to do this paid walking tour not knowing there was a free tour on offer but even knowing that I'd still choose to pay for it every day of the week. Our guide Emily was fantastic and had a great sense of humour. The tour was long enough to see everything and learn the history behind it and... More

Friendly, knowledgeable tour guide! One fear was that within the group we may not hear her - but this was no problem since the headsets we wore worked perfectly. Appreciated that the number of participants was limited; a more personal experience and we were encouraged to ask questions. We took family members from Indiana and they were impressed - however... Seattle downtown is a very nice and interesting place, the public market early in the morning is an excellent place to visit, don´t miss the chance of dining at the CRABPOT near the market, it´s crab cakes are very good, not the best in Seattle but the place is almost a landmark for tourists and it´s cuisine is ver good.

Our tour guide was a sweet and positive young woman named Carla and we loved the fact that she loved Seattle and especially the market. She knew many of the vendors by name and shared with us many interesting facts about the market. It was a nice small group & we had headphones with audio so we could hear Carla... More

We used to live 5 blocks from the Public Market for a while back in the 1990's. And being a child from Kirkland back when there were farms, etc. I can safely say I know a bit about the public market!! Going there requires a bit of fortitude if you are driving: parking is a bit difficult. My suggestion? Take... More

Warren was our excellent guide through the Market. We learned how the Market came to be - after fires - in good times and bad. Delightful and great fun, a thorough overview, after which you can zero in on your favorite sellers.

Anyone going to Seattle needs to pop by the public market and explore for themselves. It is a great place to sample some excellent products and feel like a sardine with all the other tourists.

Warren is a terrific tour guide. If you just go to the market you are missing the history and the color of early Seattle. We highly recommend the walking tour.
