Wonderful performances

My little ballerina loves to go and enjoy the show. Parking is expensive and a pain, but the performances are wonderful

Saw the Nutcracker. Great performance- would certainly recommend. The theater seats however were very tight- I am a small framed person and I was a bit uncomfortable.

I wans't too excited about the ballet, who would be, right? But it was excellent. The costumes, music and dancing were awe inspiring. We watched the first act with mouths agape. The staff was pretty friendly. The Fifth Avenue people seem the friendliest in town .. but this wasn't too bad. Oh, and we were sure the crowd would be... More

My daughter and I watched the PNB Nutcracker 1986 video over and over when she was growing up and always said we needed to go see it live. It was her inspiration for becoming a ballet dancer! So when we found out that 2014 was the last year for the Sendak version we just had to go! We went to... More

We went to the Nutcracker Ballet and was very happy with the orchestra, the ballet; and, in particular, the sets as developed by Maurice Sendak. They were outstanding! The orchestra was excellent as well. The Nutcracker story, of course, is not so clear and does not capture the mind like Swan Lake, but nevertheless, this was a first class performance... More

We welcome the new Nutcracker next holiday season. The show yesterday was amazing and it will be so fun to take the kids next year. We will all welcome the new sets, costumes and dances.

The costumes, the live orchestra, the dancing, the sets, the props, The venue, the intermission reception...every last minute was an absolute joy. This is the final season of the Stowell Sendak Nutcracker (after 31 years!) and I am 1: SO thrilled we spent the money to see it and 2: so sorry is is coming to a close. If you... More

A family tradition started with my oldest daughter and her Grandpa since she was 6 years old. The Stowell and Sendak production hasn't lost any of the magic. Beautiful sets and choreography always sets the stage for a beautiful holiday season!

i took my two adult daughters to see the final years performance of the Maurice Sendak production, and I loved it! I took them almost 30 years ago when it first came out, and they were just enthralled! Ballet is not for everyone, we had two 10 year old girls with us, one loved it and one was bored. the... More

My husband and I just attended the matinee performance of the Sendak and Stowell version of the Nutcracker and it was fabulous. The music, performances, costumes and the venue were all beautiful. I highly recommend!
