We took my sister and her husband who were visiting us, as a special treat. Trip out was very fun. Food was delicious and was an enjoyable experience. We had been looking forward to th Native American dances and program. We were so disappointed in the dance. They were performed by a group of young people who made it obvious... More

We visited the island with our daughter. The salmon lunch was gee, and the show was enjoyable. It gives you the opportunity to try a few of the local, indigenous dishes. It can be quite an educational outing as well.

If you have a nice day in Seattle, this trip is well worth it. It is run by Argosy Cruises and takes you out to Blake Island from pier 55, and the journey to the island is about 45 minutes. During the journey we were regaled with a couple of native folklore tales. On arrival we were greeted with a... More

The trip out and back on Argusy Cruises was lovely. We had a great view of Seattle, Puget Sound and the islands. Our meal was excellent. Viewing the native art and architecture was wonderful. The staff did a great job. We really enjoyed the walk around the grounds watching the deer. This is a trip well worth taking. Just a... More

This last weekend I took the Argosy Cruise over to Tillicum Village and had a great time. The trip over was nice as the weather was good and the water very calm. The crew aboard the Argosy were quite helpful, friendly, and knew a lot about the history of the area. Upon arriving and disembarking from the vessel we were... More

We really enjoyed the experience of the tour boat, historical perspective and stories from the cruise director on the way to the island both before and after dinner, the buffet meal, native dance/show, observing and visiting with local artisans. Very interesting evening and the meal was delicious!

Tillicum Village is a great place. From the time you leave with the narration form Haida (Christopher) telling stories from legends, this really was a voyage of discovery. Greeted with clams and stamping the shells into the pathway, you really want to get inside and be a part of the place for a while. The salmon was fantastic, and I... More

Hubby treated me to the Argosy cruise to Tillicum Village where we enjoyed the salmon bake. The trip out to the island was narrated, which helped us to understand what we will be seeing. The boat was smooth and very quiet. Once on the island as we walked toward the long house, we were given mugs of clams in broth.... More

Without a special discount, this trip would be too expensive. However, with the discount, one did not have to worry about monetary value and could enjoy all that this experience offers. You get to sail on a small ship (perhaps about 100 passengers) across the Sound. You come up to small Blake Island and are greeted by hosts with steaming... More
