Great location on Lake Union with the Agua Verde Mexican Restaurant right above it - who could ask for more. Staff was tremendous and very helpful. Up to date equipment and very knowledgeable staff setting us up in our kayaks. This was the first time for one of our party of four, and after about two minutes in the water,... More

Another beautiful day in Seattle. Packed the family up to paddle our way through house boats, waved at some duck tourist, took a few epic pictures of sailboats and then headed upstairs for some authentic Mexican food.

The Agua Verde Paddle club has like a million kayaks, so the good news is you likely don't have to worry about them selling out, still, I recommend calling ahead. Parking your car isn't easy, but I lucked into a nearby meter. Definitely call to see where they recommend. In our group we rented single and double kayaks, but they... More

I go to Aqua Verde every time I visit home, weather permitting. Sometimes I go alone, sometimes with friends, either way, it's a great way to experience the Seattle waterways (the best part of the city IMO.) Access is quick and easy, you can go for one hour or 8 if you want to... And when you're done, tacos and... More

First off, this is a great place to rent a kayak, then come back famished and have true Mexican food. The Paddle Club will outfit you with everything you need to get out on the water. Lake Union is one direction, the Montlake Cut (canal) and Portage Bay is the other. They will teach you the basics of paddling and... More

These folks make it really easy to have a good time paddling! Pleasant people, professional service, efficient rental process, equipment in great shape. They have a floating dock that is specially set up to make it easy to get in and out of your boat. Someone is there to help you get in, and when you return, you just hand... More

I looked in many sites about renting a kayak in Seattle. I chose Agua Verda for its proximity to Union Bay Natural Area. The rental club was very efficient and proffesional. The Kayak was in a very good condition. The rowing to Union bay takes about 20 minutes. We rowed into the park. It was breath taking and beautifull view.... More

They took us out to Aqua Verde a very authentic Mexican Restaurant. The location was perfect, right on the water of Union Bay. It was very busy even though we got there early. We had to wait for a table but around the side there was a little tent with a couple playing music and a woman dancing. We were... More
