Handerpants you ask? Its like Underpants, for your hands. Its a lot classier than wearing your husbands underpants because you have been doing everyone elses laundry except your own. Not that I have done that. Anyway, If you live or are visiting Seattle, you must go. You have not seen everything unless you have been here. This is the place... More

It's a gag and novelty paradise. Any kind of weird toy or prank can be found there. Also a hip and funny staff. It was one of the highlights of me and my kids visit to Seattle. Definitely carve out an hour to visit the store if you're in Seattle.

We enjoyed visiting and buy just few things (from our point of view, stuff is quite expensive for the purpose it may have). The quality is not higher than a 99cent shop: the potato gun I bought, for example, do not work at all in any way!!! Very disappointing. Just taka a glance if you are in the area... and... More

This was an interesting store. They had everything from Jane Austin band aids to aprons describing how to keep a husband. We spent a lot of time looking around at all the fun goodies! We shopped and laughed and had a great time in the store! I mean really... who doesn't need a giant fly swatter!!? It is a good... More

I have ordered things from Archie McPhee online (Handerpants are my favorite), but didn't realize until TripAdvisor that they had a store in Seattle! When we went to Seattle for a weekend, we had to go to Archie McPhee. Forget Pike's Place Market or the Space Needle - this was my husband's favorite place on the whole trip! When we... More

Archie McPhee is the only Seattle store I go to where I often hear laughter in the aisles. That's because many of the items are laugh-out-loud funny (emergency "meow" button) or just downright weird (giant stuffed rat). And if bacon's your thing, then this your place. Bacon-themed products range from bacon-flavored toothpaste to sizzling-bacon air freshener. A bunch of practical... More

I know I'm revealing that I'm an old fart, but I'm over the whole affected "hipster" thing Seattle seems to never get tired of. (On the bus yesterday I saw a young guy in his twenties who must have spent big bucks and a lot of time to make his 'thrown-together' look: Docs, black nerd glasses, greaser hair, jeans rolled... Like nuthin' else, a shop for all happy oddballs... rubber chickens is just the beginning -- how about boxing nun puppets and absinthe breath mints?! A must see

Stopped by one of Seattle's "icons" with my kids and they liked the store as did I. Lots of smalls and odds slightly over priced. Also staff was un-welcoming and just talked to themselves didnt say anything to anyone while I was there (about 45min). Of course the place speaks for its self but employees need costumer service training! Not... More

I've visited the Archie McPhee web site many times.. I first heard about it on Facebook, but when I traveled to Seattle on a business trip I wanted to make sure that I visited the place. There's hardly any parking at the place at all, so I had to park down a neighborhood side street and walk a couple of... More
