I remember when Starbucks first opened and was only in Seattle - fast forward many years and they are a staple wherever I travel around the world. With so many friends who are regulars to Starbucks I had to stop and take a photo of the original one - and the original logo before it became gentrified! If you are... More

Okay yes it's just like every other Starbucks execpt for the sign and the souvenirs. But it was fun and I'm glad we didn't pass it even though the line was a little long. We were here in December and it took about 40 minutes to get in and out. But it was a good experience and now we can... More

We visited the original Starbucks early to avoid all of the crowds because of reading other reviews. We got there at about 8:30am and it was perfect! No lines and we were able to get coffee and look at the souvineres. If you have to go late, just get your souvineres and walk down the street to the non-bust Starbucks... More

I enjoyed going here. I didn't go in because it was way too busy, and there was one right down the street. It looked really old, in a good way. I would recommend going here.

So, I don't drink coffee so this was a little bit of a strange trip for me to go to Starbucks. My wife loves coffee so we decided to go. I ended up getting a hot chocolate with Mint which I would have to say was one of the best hot chocolates I have ever had. The line wasn't too... More

As a fan of coffee and of Starbucks, I thought it was really cool to see the first ever store in Seattle, with the original logo and everything. I went twice, once at around 8.30am to get a coffee, then again mid-afternoon to buy some souvenirs. At 8.30 there was no line and I got served quickly with friendly service.... More

An advantage for travelers from the East, I showed up around 6am for my morning cup. The market was just coming to life with deliveries of fish and flowers, and no crowds! I'm a faithful Pike Place drinker so the special reserve was a treat. Also made for sensible souvenirs - get a mug for you and beans for your... More

We just had to stop by the Original Starbucks, even though there was at least a 15-minute wait. To see the original store was a thrill . . . and to think that it's now a worldwide brand is really interesting. Be sure to notice how much the current logo differs from the original one!

Line is always long, we got coffee for the one about 100 ft away and then walked down to take a picture in front of it. Was cool to see it and say that we did but nothing special. Take a photo and grab a mug, Seattle has so much more to see than this.

No point going for the coffee as lines out of the door. Interesting to see where it all began however
