Cool place to visit & say you've been to the first Starbucks, but it was packed with people. There's even musicians performing outside the small storefront.

This is right in Pike's Place Market and is a good spot to grab a coffee to recharge yourself to continue sightseeing. It is a bit different than any of the other Starbucks out there. They also have merchandise you can only get there.

If you are a huge fan of Starbucks like I am then when in Seattle this should be on your bucket list of things to do. It's gets really busy in here so I would suggest going early in the morning to beat the tour bus craze. Although the line up was long, it went fairly quickly. A must do... More

Stopped by after dinner in the city while on a business trip. A lot of people are saying it wasn't worth the wait, but if you go at night there is no wait! Just kind of cool to say you have been to the original Starbucks.

Well, it's cool to say you have been there, but if the line is more than 20pax, skip the queue. You need to know what you are going to order and half the time, people hold up the line because they start to decide when they are at the cashier!

Not sure if it worth the wait, so pick your time wisely. We went late in the morning and there were only about 10 people in line. When we left, the line was out the door. This is not a get a cup of coffee and sightsee kind of Starbucks, it's get your drink and get out. There is no... More

While we thought it was a neat idea to get coffee from the original Starbucks, it was a let down. The first thing you see is the line which draws attention like it's a must thing to do. Once you get in there are two cashiers and two people making coffee. I honestly think they have it staffed like that... More

A piece of the recent history but besides that, it is nothing special. Not a mandatory stop unless you are a big Starbucks fan.

If you are there for a memento... Go inside and look at the merchandise before standing in line... Unless you really want to stand in line for 30-40 minutes for Starbucks coffee... It's down town Seattle, there is a Starbucks on every block, you will walk past 5 of them before you finish your drink. Go in the early evening.... More

Friendly staff. SUPER busy in the morning so we went later in the day. Cool cups and nick nacks to take home with you.
