Must see if you are a Starbucks fan. Just a fun thing to do and take pictures of the very first starbucks, located at the north end and across the street from Pike Market. Very small place, in fact I passed it up the first time, the long line should have given it away. Try to go later in the... More

This is a great place, and is a must see, but if you want to sit and have a cup of coffee go up to the Starbucks around the corner because there are no tables or chairs here.

Normally, I am not a fan of Starbucks. But this one is the original and I am from Connecticut, so how often will I get a chance to see it. It still has a corporate feel to it, but it is not a cookie cutter design like all the other Starbucks. They sell mugs stating "from the first Starbucks" and... More

and not much for tea drinkers. I visited because of the historic value and the atmosphere was ok. There was a busker outside, Bruce, lovely voice singing 70's songs to match the era in which Starbucks began. Inside the coffee was efficiently served but the rest of the shop was full of displays of cups and packs of coffee for... More

Service was quick. There was a long line out the door but didn't have to wait long. Its the original so you should definitely visit if you're a Starbucks fan.

I am a huge coffee addict so it only seemed natural that I would visit the birthplace of Starbucks. Whether you like the organization or not, I believe it is worthwhile to visit the original starbucks simply because it has become such a large part of the culture. In many ways, this is storefront has become a part of the... More

Hey ....... I don't even drink coffee, but wanted to visit "The Original" at 1912 Pike Place to purchase my wife a small gift (I'm no fool). It was crowded, but the line moved fairly quickly. The 4 man A capella R&B group on the street serenaded us with some classics. The staff in the store were wonderfully friendly and... More

The original Starbucks store is right near the Pike’s Place Market. I grabbed a large coffee to enjoy while strolling through the market. They have several cups etc that you can only get at this store. I wouldn’t go out of my way to see this, but if your doing the market anyway, it’s worth stopping. One interesting thing is... More
