If you have seen one Starbucks, you have seen them all. Of course, this one is the original, so it's a must see if you love Starbucks. They sell only "first starbucks" and Pike Place Market merchandise. I ordered a coffee, took lots of pictures, and stood in line with all the rest of the Starbucks fans. It was worth... More

The Original Starbucks is much smaller than the other Starbucks with one side taking and waiting for orders while the other are the merchandise. The wait to get on was a good five to ten minutes and it was a bit chaotic on the day I went and there were a few people cutting in line, pretending they just wanted... More

Expect to queue. And since this is the "original" starbucks, do order the Pike Place Special Reserve that is only sold at this outlet. The coffee master will use the traditional filter to prepare your coffee. P/S: The 1912 at the door represents the unit number, not the year establishment :)

Apparently the original, original Starbucks was within the Pike Place market and only sold coffee, but the almost original Starbucks is pretty cool too. They manage their line well and have picture of the souvenirs that you can choose. They also sell variety of coffee that you can only get at this store. So go, have a take away coffee... More

The coffee was great, as usual. And the service was fine. I was just disappointed it wasn't more grand or original. It's tucked into a corner of the market, and you could almost miss it if you didn't know it was there.

This store is more about the history than about Starbucks. It was packed and there were lots and lots of people there taking pictures of the sign. We went (even though there is a Starbucks or an espresso store on every corner) just to say we had been to the original. I found they are only allowed to sell what... More

This place was advertised as the first Starbucks but well it's not, that place was down the road and is no longer. However still genuine logos and very well done. Too crowded so stayed outside, but coffee is the same anyway...

Original first Starbucks, a must see if you are a Starbucks lover like me. Line is long most of the time but moves very fast. They have a greeter inside the door that makes the wait much shorter. Service is like all Starbucks, great! Bought their reserve blend, only two places sell this coffee, was expecting price to be very... More

Yes it was crowded with tourists taking pictures holding all the mugs, however it is the only place you can buy the pike place city mugs in the city it seems.. Also the mugs on the shelves are for display only so don't try to find the only one that isn't broken and pay for it...They have plenty behind the... More

What a fun place! Crazy busy! Down across from Fish Market! Had to go even though I do not drink coffee! It smelled great! Bought something for my daughter who loves Starbucks!
