It was kind of cool to see the first Starbucks and the items there do have the original logo so it is a bit different.

I'm not sure if this is really the original location, it just seems like a pretty busy Starbucks. I wouldn't choose to line up here rather than at any of the other fine places for coffee in Seattle.

Don't let the fact that I rated this is average keep you from a visit. There are many amazing things to see and do in Seattle that are very good and excellent...and some that are average, but still worth your time. The location is excellent, right across the street from Pike Place Market...so why not stop in for some coffee,... More

I love Starbucks, and so this place was a must on my Seattle trip. The line was out the door but went surprisingly quick. It is a pretty tiny place and no one was actually sitting with their drink. Staff was super friendly and helpful - they told me about the special reserve coffees offered there and even though things... More

The entire area around the Starbucks location is great. Good food, music, and people watching. It is TOTALLY a tourist spot since the Starbucks Reserve location only a mile away is much larger and newer. However, I had no wait on my visit (must have been lucky there), so for no wait, and a friendly staff, it was well worth... More

Fun to people watch. Staff was rude, understand its a tourist spot, but when someone says thank you, the polite response is your welcome.

I am a near lifelong Pacific Northwest resident and we all chuckle as we pass this location and see the tourists lined-up at a truly fake attraction. The actual original Starbucks Coffee Tea & Spice WAS located in a different place and most definitely not here. Any of the other Starbucks or independent coffee shops in the area are far... More

I admit it, I was drawn to the original Starbucks and was the only one in our group of 5 willing to line up for 45 minutes just to buy an original Starbucks mug. Is the store worth the line up? Not at all, it is bland in fact and there isn't much to photograph. Is the mug worth it?... More

This Starbucks is apparently the original Starbucks cafe. Worth the look but not the coffee. They must be still using the first roast ever done as the coffee was horrid. If you want a real coffee experience in Seattle, Starbucks Reserve at the top of Pike St serves excellent coffee.

No trip to Seattle would be complete without buying a coffee from the most famous Starbucks store in the world. Expect to line up, but they are quite quick.
