It's something you have to do when being a tourist in Seattle.....visit the original Starbucks! A colleague of mine went earlier in the day and the line was out the door and down the street. We went circa 8pm and it was fairly quite. As well as all the usual coffee, you can also get all sorts of souvenirs. The... More

Amazing visit to the original place! Food and coffee were of course amazing... And it would t have been better if the cashiers attitude wasn't so sour. "Freya" snapped at me when I offered to give her a few cents over so she could give me a ten spot back, not 9.92.... She said the "drawer already calculated it- I... More

We figured since we were in Seattle we had to see it. The most interesting thing was its small and has worn wood floors. I do like that it's NOT another fancy ,modern upscale Starbucks ..

Like everyone has said, this is where it all started. You can get items with the original logo, or items that reference the "Original Starbucks". Now if this is on your bucket list it is worth the wait. Expect to wait in line 45 - 90 minutes. We went on a Wednesday afternoon around 2:30 and waited for 60 minutes.... More

if u want to see the 'original Starbucks and the original logo then go visit. But even then, it is not TECHNICALLY the original Starbucks as it had burnt down a block or two down the street. The lines are long at this Starbucks, why i dont know since u get the same thing as at other Starbucks... I guess... More

This is the only Starbucks location that features the original logo in the store and on it's merchandise but it is a smaller sized shop and is almost always very crowded. I think this was cool to see but I was in Seattle for an extended period, I wouldn't prioritize it if you're short on time

This is where it all began. Just like every other Starbucks, there is nothing different about this one, except for the outside and how it looks compared to others. There was always a huge line to get in. So i never made it in.

First of all, this technically is not the "original" Starbucks. The original was down the street in a hotel. When the hotel was damaged in a fire, I believe, they moved to this location. In the meantime, 2 other locations had opened. However, the company markets this as the original and sells mugs that you can only get there. There... More

Ok people, quit complaining about the lines and it being crowded. If you are looking for no lines, go to another starbucks. People come here to see the very first original Starbucks, of course it is going to be crowded. It looks really nice to see and the atmosphere was great. I liked the little souvenirs there and obviously the... More

Of course I went to see the very first store of Starbucks. Maybe if it wasn't that crowded I would appreciate it much more..it looks nice and cozy, but the waiting lines are quite long and you can't even sit inside. You can buy some souvenirs inside, such as mugs with the original sign, etc. and they serve their own... More
