Description: Located in the Pike Place Market, Market Ghost Tours offers different...
Located in the Pike Place Market, Market Ghost Tours offers different walking tours year round. Named one of the Top Ten US Ghost Tours by tripavisor 2009 & 2010, the skeptic and believer can enjoy this exterior walking tour of Pike Place Market because it is rooted in history. Our emphasis is on storytelling. We also offer the Mortuary Investigation, which goes inside the Butterworth Mortuary during the summer and fall. During the day we have a 60 minute history tour focused on the merchants in the Market. The Pike Place Market is a nine acre district with over 400 residents as well as businesses. It also includes the city's first mortuary, part of an old graveyard, and a brothel that still has a red glow cast on its side. Leave the high heels at home because some of the streets are cobblestones. We encourage you to bring your cameras to try and capture phenomena and also to take some beautiful pictures of the neon and theatrical architecture in the Market. Find us, tickets and tours start at Ghost Alley Espresso at 1499 Post Alley, just before the Gum Wall!

Kook was great!

The ghost tour of Pike's Market was fun, engaging and education, primarily because the tour guide Kook clearly loved what she did. I highly recommend!

We went and had chuck as our guide. One member of our group had been before and raved about the tour. Chuck failed to talk about the ghosts or spooky stories. He mostly talked about history and failed to hit on what we paid for. Walking around the market at night while it was closed was very cool.

Went here in March 2015. Had a good time. As with most ghost tours, it's really more of a historical tour, which I was anticipating. Or group had about 30 people. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly and I would go again with out of town visitors. A good tip is to book online ahead of time. Also, be sure... More

This was a great mix of the theatrical ghost tours mixed with the story telling tours. The guide had a gift for story telling that kept us interested the entire time!

When we travel to new places we like to take the ghost tours because it's a fun, and sometimes spooky, way to learn the history of a place you might not normally hear about. This was one of our favorite tours that we have done. The guide was great and knew lots about the area.

I took my 16 year old daughter on this tour with a couple of friends to celebrate her birthday. We had a lot of fun and Chuck was a great story teller, and although the group was big he tried to make a connection with everyone. I really love the historical facts that went with this tour. I learned a... More

I have done this several times and enjoyed it every time. The tour guides tell great stories as they guide you around Pike Place and Post Alley at night.

I really was looking forward to this tour and when it started out it felt like it was going to be a great experience. Penny was our guide and she was great, personable and friendly. Unfortunately, her script was weak on content. This is a great opportunity and a potential hit for the company that gives the tour, but they... More

We were cruising around Pike Place Market and had just finished looking at the lovely gum wall. Afterwards we stopped at Market Ghost Espresso. It's a cute little place right there in the corner. The coffee was deeelish & Fairy, our barista, was wonderful, warm & charming! It was just what was needed. We didn't do the tour but will... More
