The Seattle Symphony in Benaroya Hall is a linchpin of Seattle's cultural experience. The Hall is magnificent. The seating is comfortable and the sound is excellent. We have a wonderful Symphony in Seattle that is the main tenant of the Hall, but there are other performances there as well. If you are in Seattle and enjoy classical music, the Seattle... More

If the symphony is playing while you are in town, don't miss it! The musicians are amazing and the hall is beautiful. A treasure in Seattle.

Times change, and I was a Gerard Schwartz fan, but go if you have a free evening ....well and a bit of money. Or if you have guts just go down with a sign..."two students need cheap tickets" and you will get them cheap or free (from the rich persons).

Music of Danny Elfman concert June 2014 My first ever orchestral concert and I can not fault the fantastic performance and the superb acoustics of the Benaroya Hall. My only complaint has that the back of my seat seemed to have minimal padding and became a bit uncomfortable towards the end of the performance - strange given that the venue... More

Great orchestra and a fun night out. They usually do special events, so pick something that interests you. Recently they did a set with Sir Mix A Lot!

I think anyone who enjoys classical music should attend a performance of the Seattle Symphony when they visit Seattle. For a city that is not well known for its symphony, this is still an outstanding group. The venue itself may not be world class, but it is still a wonderful setting to hear classical music.

If you know your classical music, you know that the Big 5 US Orchestras are Philadelphia, New York, Boston, Chicago, and the Cleveland. This is for good reason. These orchestras are associated with equally world-renowned music schools. For example the Curtis Institute in Philadelphia and the Julliard in New York. A fancy concert hall is no compensation for a century... More

This facility with large windows providing a view of the water is exceptional. The staircases, the lobby are all beautiful. The only downside was how deeply inset the box seats that made it difficult to see the full stage. The performance itself was very well done, although it was not my favorite selection. I attended as part of the orchestra... More

Tonight's program, CELEBRATE AMERICA , was a wonderful concert held at the Seattle Symphony Hall. It will be repeated Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The program begins with The Star-Spangled Banner and ends with Stars and Stripes Forever. In between, we were treated to music by John Williams, Glenn Miller and even Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture. The fabulous Symphony orchestra was featured.... More
