You gotta try the SUP in Green Lake It is fun activity, you will probably fall in the water few times, still fun. It is kind of in between kayaking and surfing It is the new thing in Green lake I did it with my daughter and it is really fun way of cruising in the lake. Take Gopro camera... More

I lived near here and visited many times! lots of great people watching. pretty views all the way 'round the 2.77 mile loop. 10 minute drive from downtown Seattle. The north and northeast sides of the lake have a handful of stops (bar and grill ... ice cream...bakery). Best part? it's FREE! Park on side streets and walk a few... More

This is such a wonderful place to spend some time in! You can rent all sorts of things like paddleboats and kayaks and stand up paddle boards. We had a lot of fun here.

Visiting the park with my dog and walking the path around the lake, visiting with others, investigating the bushes, enjoying the foliage and the verdure is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Lots of places to sit, lots of flowers, fields for playing, children's play area, indoor and outdoor swimming. You can rent a kayak or canoe and explore... More

We visited the park on a Sunday afternoon and walked around the lake (which was much bigger than we thought). The place was full of people enjoying the great sunny day. Despite all the people, it was not crowded. Tons of activities - including kayak rentals and other water activities The rose garden is a must see area of the... More

This is one of the gems of Seattle -- a lovely lake with easy parking, plenty of excellent nearby restaurants, and a great venue for getting a pleasant workout, whether easy or strenuous. It is a great place to people/body watch too.

Lovely park to visit on a warm day. Plenty of space to swim and can rent canoes and peddle-boats too for a fee if you wish. There's even a diving board with lifeguards watching over for safety. Very nice if you feel like a walk around the lake too, lots of cyclists and roller-bladers but they seem considerate and stick... More

A great scooter ride around the lake. People watching is excellent on a sunny day. A great blue heron was perched on a small dock and ended up being the highlight of the day.

I had an awesome day @ Green Lake with the whole family. I am a local (Everett) but it was my first time on a holiday at the park. It was very nice, a bit crowded but it's bearable. We are a big family with lots of kids and the kids enjoyed the beach most of all. Nice clean sand,... More

Flat areas nice 3 mile loop. The park in mainly used by locals, so one can get a feel for the real Seattle. Lots of very pretty flowers and trees.
