We rented a paddle boat and had a great time paddling around the lake. You don't go very fast even if you paddle fast and they are small so you can't take much other than a bottle of water and a small bag of snacks. But well worth the money. I think it was $18 an hour for a two... More

We love Green lake. My kids enjoy swimming out to the platforms and jumping off the high dive. There are 2 beaches with platforms and diving boards. We love to rent stand up paddle boards...a but expensive at $18/hour but nice for a splurge. I love to walk around the lake...it is pleasantly shady for much of the walk and... More

Good location! The Green Lake Park in Seattle is a nice & beautiful park & lake too! There's a lot of activities there that you could be in! There's a nice food place to eat & get cold drinks or coffee! You could ride your bike or just walk around or even have a picnic!

On a clear evening, there is nothing better than a walk around the lake with your friend, sweetheart, or partner. It's clean, the trail is relatively flat and people are generally good natured. There are all types of activities, some for hire, that can be acquired if that is your thing. Go for it!

..... chirping in trees and shrubs lining the shore, as well as ducks and other water birds. Fun dog encounters and good baby watching. Special urban oasis. Have hot chocolate at the north end....Chocolati Cafe.

We have lived on the lake a number of years. What can I say...there is never a bad day to walk the lake with the family.

A lovely spot in the city! Great for a evening walk or a picnic spot with lots of walking paths around the lake.

Seattle has so many nice parks. This is definitely one of them. There is a beach, picnic tables and if you are with a dog and feel like climbing there is an off leash area across the parking lot and up a long stone stairway. I would also suggest you stop by Paseo's-a food truck with the most amazing pork... More

Pack a lunch and just stroll and people watch. This is an amazing space to bring the whole family. Whatever you are in to sports-wise, they will have. But the fun is really just enjoying the day. Relax, stop and smell "the roses".

Green Lake is the perfect place to take a walk around the lake on a sunny day. There are roller blading , biking and runners as well. It's so much fun to people watch and there are many coffee shops, bakeries, cafes and restaurants to visit afterwards. Enjoy this oasis in the middle of the city.
