What a great place!! It is so fun to see such a unique store in this age of box stores and rip off t-shirts shops. I can't believe that this place is has free admission because it has so much to offer. Where else can you find mummies as cool as Sylvester. My children loved the two headed cows and... more

This used to be my favorite destination spot on the waterfront with shrunken heads, the alligator boy, the shot cowboy mummy, the usual jarred and pickled anomolies, plus a fantastic penny arcade! Since it's relocation, the shop offers little more than the usual waterfront trinkets found in any town.....oh, and a few pieces of curioso. I wish they did more... more

My mom tried to buy a book that was priced $9.99. They clerk said it was actually $15.99. My mom told the clerk she couldn't charge more than the ticket price. The clerk called the manager who said, "I'll take care of it." He rang it up for $15.99. My mom again told him it wasn't ethical to charge more... more

I have always loved this shop since I was little. I love the shrunken heads, the mummy, and all the odd things that the founder collected for years. It’s like Ripley’s without the cover charge. The place is a little crazy, so I see how the staff could get a little annoyed since 80% of the visitors don't buy anything.... more

I went in this place with my 4 year daughter because I had gone in there as a kid. The security sensor went off as I walked in and the employee acknowledge it. When we left it went off again. The employee forced me to return to the store and would not let me leave until the contents of my... more

What is all the hype about? It is basically a junk shop and tourist trap. There are a few unique museum quality items dispersed within but definitely not worth the walk to the pier for this. more

I've lived in Seattle my whole life and I LOVE this shop it isn't only for tourists. It has the most interesting things. Be careful when you go because it can get pretty cramed. And if your walking to it from the ferries drop a coin or two in to the homeless peoples cups a lot of those people are... more

My brother in law used to go here when he was my age--12. That was in the 80's and its still an awesome place. I make sure to go there every time I visit my sister in Seattle. Just make sure to bring some silver change for the cool little toy things. They have a fortune teller just like the... more

Need a skruken head, heres the place to go. Pretty good place to pick up a few trinkets. The wooden postcards were a good buy at a $1 when I was there, hopefully they don't rise in price. more

Ye Olde curiosity shop is a great place to go if you like to look at mummies, two-headed pigs, the lord's prayer written on a grain of rice, or tons of other strange and unusual things. It's like a sideshow attraction crossed with a gift shop. It's something not to be missed in Seattle. more
