As a life long Seattleite I am sorry to say that I have taken the zoo for granted and this was my first visit in probably 15 years other then for concerts. They have made such great strides through the years opening up the exhibits so that the animals can rome around, climb trees, swim, etc. and for most it... More

Granted I grew up in the Seattle area, and have watched the zoo transform over the years, so to say I have a soft spot for this place is an understatement. When my son was younger we had a membership, which I would recommend to anyone who will come here more then once. The membership, gets you in faster by... More

We had a great time and walked a lot. Go early for less crowds. There are plenty of places to get food. We were just a little sorry we could not see the Bengal Tiger due to all the adults blocking our way. Lots of fun stuff in the gift shop.

I went yesterday to this zoo because I bought the Seattle CityPass that includes also a ticket for the zoo. I spent 2 hours and a half inside the structure and it was really nice! Big park, a lot of animals divided by their habitat and also a lot pf activities (birds and penguins feeding)!

We go to zoos and aquariums wherever we go, and we go everywhere. After two visits the Woodland Park Zoo has become our favorite. Lots of active, healthy animals in clean and spacious displays. Helpful employees and volunteers everywhere. Some unusual animals, such as magnificent Stellar Sea Eagles, unusual owls, and the best Orangutan exhibit I've ever seen. Playful otters,... More

Small beautiful zoo with great walking paths. The nw animals were all very active the day we visited as it was sunny and not too cold. Wolves, bears, otters, and elk all up and about. The exotic animals were staying a bit closer to their warm homes but still nice to see. Lots of family's and even people with dogs... More

I loved the 'wild animal park' feel to the zoo. Lots of interesting animals with a worthwhile focus on rehabilitation. The carousel was a cool bonus!

Most of the animals were not even out. Then, the glass in the Bear and Tiger Exhibits was so scratched, and cloudy that you could barely get a decent picture/photo of the animals. Was quite disappointed in this zoo to say the least. Considering the size of Seattle, this is a rather mundane zoo. I have been to other zoos... More

Hubby and I decided to go on a weekday and almost had the whole park to ourselves. Some of the animals were still sleeping when we got there or huddled inside to stay warm. I recommend going in April or May when things warm up a bit. All in all it was a lovely day and we' all continue to... More

There are so many animals and exhibits to see at the Woodland Park Zoo! When we've been they haven't been too busy, but you can also get rainy day discounts so keep an eye out! You can feed the penguins, and stay all day!
