We did not have a car while visiting Seattle, so we took the bus here, which conveniently drops off right outside the zoo gates. We came later in the day with a few hours til close and we were able to see mostly everything. Admission price is reasonable. The zoo is maintained very well and the grounds are beautiful. They... Based on their map, practically saw each animal / habitat. Except unable to locate / find / see Elephants (not sure how one could miss this). Do have to pay for parking. And if looking to feed / chat about animals / habitat then you will need a bit more time. We only spent about 4 hours at zoo and... More

Parking is almost $6 and it was expensive to get in even though it was not a weekend and near the end of day. The food there was awful. They had a sign in front of the brownies saying gluten free but they weren't. Lots of the pens seemed empty or only had one or two lonely animals. I felt... More

My wife and I drove to Seattle to visit the Woodland Park Zoo as we had heard great things about it. We found street parking nearby and used our a 2 for 1 coupon out of the entertainment book so that made it really reasonable. Total price for 2- $18. The zoo is older so it has some beautiful well... The zoo was an extremely large piece of land with barely any animals in the exhibits. I felt really bad and really sorry for the gorillas as there were two of them running back and fourth pounding on the glass where all the people stand to watch them. The gorillas were very angry with all the screaming overly excited toddlers... More

I am an accredited zoo fanatic so I had to visit Woodland Park when I was in Seattle for a convention. It was very easy to get to by bus, and the zoo was well laid out and easy to get around. Easily a full day's worth of things to see and do. The exhibits are great and the staff... More

We had a good experience at the zoo. We traveled with 4 adults and 2 toddlers. The toddlers were free to get in and we had 2 for 1 coupons from the entertainment book so the cost wasn't too much of an issue. The zoo itself is very large, easy to get lost, but many exhibits and lots to see.... More

Visited with a friend and their 2 1/2 year old grandchild ! I thought the zoo was OK. There were some very entertaining children's activities, but so many of the animals were not out or not visible. Honestly did not feel like the zoo lived up to the hype. It is a bit difficult to navigate..even with a map. The staff... More

My wife and I took our grandson for a day at the zoo. While I think it is a little pricey the joy of watching an 18 month old's excitement is well worth it. Be prepared for a lot of walking and lots of picture taking.
