This is a fantastic zoo! It was so much fun, beautiful and you get up close and personal with the animals. We got to feed giraffes for $5 USD. It was such an awesome experience. Great shows around throughout the day as well. We went to see this with the City Pass.

Having been born in Seattle and a resident of the neighborhood a trip to the Woodland Park Zoo was always a treat. Of course, it was free in those days (10 cents to get into the petting zoo) but even now, the $13.50 adult admission doesn't seem that bad (it costs more to go up the Space Needle). So this... More

We visited the Woodland Park Zoo for the holidays to enjoy their lights display called ZooLights. This is a separate visit from their normal daily hours (you have to leave and come back later) and a separate entrance fee. There are thousands of lights along paths through a portion of the zoo grounds. The reptile house and the Komodo Dragon... More

This zoo was so much better than my hometown zoo! The zoo is large, and it will definitely take at least 3-4 hours to see everything. The fact that we were able to see all the animals was great. I loved the fact that you could purchase tickets for up close encounters with the animals as well. I'll definitely return!

I've been here a few times now with my husband and we love it. The animals are active and appear to be well cared for. This is a big place with lots of different types of animals. You can easily spend 4-6 hours here and still not see everything. I've been to zoos in NY, VA, FL and this is... More

We spent the day at the Zoo and had a great time. It was January 2nd and we were there right at opening. Even-though it was cold the zoo has windows that allow the visitors to see inside where the animals are sleeping. A few great things to watch for: 1) When they wash the Elephants it is really great... More

We went to the zoo once for Wildlights and once during the day! It was a very nice, large zoo with plenty of animals to keep our whole family entertained! The inside play place was great for the kids!

I used to love going here, until I learned more about the animals they keep. Especially the elephants. They really need to send them to a sanctuary and give them a chance to live free. Seeing wild animals in captivity just doesn't make me happy at all any more.
