The zoo is nice but it seems every time I have come to this zoo, many of the animals are hiding, sleeping, or just super shy. I took my kids here and they really liked the penguin exhibit the most. The zoo takes all day to see everything. I had to come twice to see it all as my kids... More

The Woodland Park Zoo can easily take up two days of your time. Days well-spent. It's a phenomenal park that, unlike other zoos I've seen, does not make you feel bad for the animals. Most of the enclosures are expansive and crafted to resemble native habitats and the animals are very well treated by the staff. Our family goes there... More

This is a really nice zoo, and I was lucky that many of the animals were active the day I attended. I found it a little confusing trying to figure out where to park and then where to enter the zoo. There are several parking areas and several ways to enter the zoo, and it's not quite clear. Look for... More

I thoroughly enjoyed this zoo. Alot more animals than I thought and a beautiful layout. My grandson could feed the budgies and penguins. The food area was huge and the food good, reasonably priced and huge amounts. Fantastic day even with rain.

This zoo is really neat and has lots to see. I had to take a bus there but it was a nice ride and had lots of fun seeing all the animals and even an elephant show. I would recommend it. I am going back to Seattle soon so I may squeeze this in there if there's time. :)

Kids loved the variety of animals. Prices were very reasonable for a zoo. And feeding the birds was a real treat.

We just returned from the Woodland Zoo and it is simply the best zoo within 2 hours of Vancouver, B.C.. The Aldergrove Zoo isn't in the same class, level or sophistication as the Woodland Zoo. Our 6 y/o and 2 y/o loved it !! We loved the wolves since they were very active during feeding time. The animals are 'hit/miss'... More

Was a little hard to find the place even with a GPS! Was a decent zoo, but nothing spectacular. Not enough animals, and too spaced out! An average zoo experience, and definitely not a must do when in Seattle...If you have an extra few hours on hand, and a good GPS then go for it:)

I've been to alot of zoos and Woodland Park is terrific. Ticket price is reasonable, $12.95 although they charge $5 to park. The animal habitats were terrific, most giving an up close view of the animals through glass. It was a rainy day and we practically had the zoo to ourselves, so maybe the animals were not intimidated, but we... More

We took our girls 7, and 12 to the zoo on our spring break trip to Seattle. The zoo has great exhibits and tons of animals. We really enjoyed it and felt it was good "family time". our favorite part was the Northwest trek section was our favorite. we bought the City Pass and it saved us a lot of... More
