Great way to spend a day

Enjoyable family time. Lots to see. Good parking. You will want to spend 4-5 hours to see everything.

Spent three hours here during a weekday with my children and we all loved it! We got there first thing and no lineups and plenty of parking, though I can see it being very busy in the summer. The animals were lively and awake when we went, the lion cubs are adorable! The snow leopard, orang-utans, brown bear, and giraffes... More

Loved this zoo! I really appreciate the zoo enclosures being both spacious, and set up for good viewings for zoo visitors. In many cases, the planning and design has made it so you can safely have an unobstructed view of the animals without having to look through a fence. The animals all seem happy, active, and well looked after. The... More

We have a membership there and I take my grandchildren there fairly frequently in the summer. The zoo is extensive and well maintained. There are some special spots for kids to just play and lots of shade for relaxing. There are places to have a picnic or you can brave the lines in the food court and even get a... More

This was our second time to this Zoo as the last time was many years ago and one of our daughters was not even born. The Zoo is on 95 acres and has so much to see! For around a $13 entrance fee I believe, you can easily spend 4-5 hours here and might still not see everything, this is... More

This zoo is worth seeing. There are a lot of interesting animals to see throughout the park. Plan at least 4 hours to see everything. The elephant habitat is disappointing as it is too small for such big animals, however the zoo is sending the elephants to a much larger habitat in another state later this year. The trails are... We attended with other adults and a twenty year old and were not disappointed. Would recommend it as a must do in Seattle. Like others stale, wear comfortable shoes as it's a big zoo with lots of walking and to see.

We've been meaning to see the zoo for years, but don't often drive the 100 miles south to the Seattle area. It was a beautiful day but we arrived about 2:30 in the afternoon, partly due to weekend traffic. When we purchsed tickets we were warned that we wouldn't have a lot of time due to closing hours and that... More

Amazing zoo! Parking is atrocious...but it is Seattle. Get there early. There is so much to see and it is very expensive however, it is an experience that is fun and great for a family to share in together. If you can take advantage of a Groupon or some sort of coupon/deal/pass, do it! It's worth it. Be prepared to... More

Woodland park zoo is a really a pretty darn good zoo considering the space they have to work with as well as the Seattle climate. We have an annual membership and with two young children, the zoo is our go-to fair weather destination (the Seattle aquarium is our rainy day haunt). I would describe the Woodland Park Zoo as a...
