Best zoo

Great visit to the zoo midweek. Relatively flat walking paths, plenty of food options, lots of bathrooms! Best of all, great exhibits. The kids had a blast.

We have been to a lot of zoos. This zoo is nice enough, but when comparing it to St. Louis and many others it is not quite as nice. Many exhibits have only one animal. Our kids were happy enough with the experience, but have been wowed more by others.

I love going to this zoo. I was worried that it may not be very nice or big since it was in the middle of the city. I was wrong! It was nice and big and clean....very enjoyable zoo. Its one we could go back too every time we visit Seattle.

It is a big zoo that is designed like the animal's natural habitat. Unfortunately, we went about mid day and we didn't see a lot of animals as they were hiding. But we got to see more in the mid afternoon. Great for families! They have a lot of shade trees so it was nice and cool. Wear comfortable walking... More

This zoo has been very carefully designed to look untidily natural! Even when we couldn't see animals we enjoyed just being in the zoo. It has a lot of shady walks and the rock formations look very natural.

Wonderful zoo, well themed exhibits, generally happy animals, tasty food, and plenty of additional attractions right outside the zoo (neighborhood cafes, Greenlake, park playground, playfields and courts, and more.

We enjoy coming here for the Christmas Lights in the Park event. Also just passing through to see all the different animals is an awesome experience.

Another season pass this year made for several fun visits to this zoo. You have to go several times to even see half of it. We got to go see the new baby lions that were just shown to the public. Oh so cute! I would go 100 times more if I could! Great exercise and food isn't to expensive.... More

It's so wonderful to see the animals in area that are close to their natural environment. They are close enough to enjoy the experience and actually have everyone see them. This zoo is large enough to keep you entertained and keep you looking for hours. We spent almost am entire day here. Treat yourself and go on a cool day... More
