We love to bring out of town guests to visit Alki. Beautiful views, great walking path, several different food choices.

A beautiful view of Seattle is available from this beach and the area has a nice beach community fill unfortunately it's not a Southeastern or Hawaiian beach.

It is definitely the best beach we could find in Seattle and it was definitely fun place to fly a kite and be on the sand. Not real sunny and water cold, but what do you expect in Seattle! not a very large beach (but very long) but worth going to

Visited on a recent day that began greyish (but clear) and ended up sunny. The park offers easy flat trails for walking and amazing views of the Seattle skyline and the bay. Took a break and enjoyed a cup of coffee in one of the cute shops along the beach. Definitely recommend it as a great place for a leisurely... More

My husband and I came on a cloudy day after snow, so we were not able to see much of the Seattle skyline. But what we did see was beautiful! I can only imagine what it would be like on a clear day! It was funny to see snow on a beach, and even funnier to see snowmen all over... More

Alki is a great place for enjoying the beach when it's warm. When it's chilly, Alki is still a beautiful places for a walk, fabulous photo ops of the Salish Sea and the Seattle skyline. Sunsets are fabulous, especially from the south end of the beach. Need to warm up? Pop into one of the many coffee shops or cafes.... More

My friend and I came here to see New Year's fireworks from the Space Needle. Unfortunately, Seattle remains incredibly foggy and we could barely see any fireworks from where we were. Also, there were many marijuana users around us. With the atrocious smell, cold weather and no fireworks, needless to say, we were a little disappointed.

When I was there, it was a bit cold and windy, so I didn't stay long. The view of Seattle is great and great for some scenic photos.

Alki beach and surrounding area is awesome. During the warm months there is no other place to go. Nice eateries in the area, beach volley ball, bicycles, simply perfect. A must see while in Seattle. Enjoy

I almost don’t want to review Alki Beach because I don’t want everyone to flock there. However, a visit to Alki Beach is a wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown Seattle. I took the water taxi from the waterfront and then hopped on the FREE shuttle to the beach area. A lovely path follows the waterline and... More
