I came here to visit family and we chilled out here for a whole day . There is a nice place that sells food and drinks also a place to rent kayaks and paddle boards. Spend an amazing day here followed by a group at the end of the beach letting of Chinese laterns. I'll never forget that day.

Avoid the weekends or afternoon/evening if you can. The mass of people equates to NO PARKING. If you want to people watch then park well away and take the bus or bring your bike.

Spent here, great views! Nice way to spend a hour or two strolling, taking photos and taking in the scenery. Relaxing and calming place. Had no problem with parking, though I was there early on a Sunday morning if that helps. I would make the trip again.

Spent the morning walking along Alki Beach. Not only can you see a stunning view of Seattle across the Puget Sound, but you also see the Olympic Mountain Range and Northern Cascade Mountain Range. It's the home range of orcas and sea lions as well. Just Beautiful!

We met up with a friend at Alki Beach. Parking can be tough; luckily we found some street parking around 59th/Alki. It can be pretty packed during the weekend; when we went, there were a bunch of volleyball games and some people salsa dancing.

Took the ferry to west Seattle and the free shuttle bus to Alki Beach. With nice weather a great afternoon break. It is a very laid back place in a beautiful surrounding.

Alki Beach Park has great views of Seattle. The beach is very pleasant and walkable. Lots of places for food and drink. Well worth a couple of hours.

I heard Alki Beach was hands down, the best beach in Seattle, which was... cute... in my opinion. I grew up on east coast beaches, so take that as you will. The positives outweigh the negatives, but I think it's best to understand what you're in for. If you think you're going to lie on the beautiful white sand and... More

Great place to walk, ride a bike, skate, walk a dog or hang out at the beach and watch the sunset. We were visiting family here. It's a bit busy for driving along to get anywhere, unless you know a shortcut and parking is sparse. There are plenty of bars, restaurants and coffee houses to choose from. It was hopping....lots...
