My husband and I try to kayak any time we go on vacation. We find it is a great way to see another side of a city. I am not a sports person and kayaking is very easy and relaxing. Johnny our guide was a wealth of information and we learned so much more about the city, the birds etc... More

My wife and I had a great time on our afternoon tour with Alki Kayak Tours. We were luckily and the only two attendees with our guide Noah. We are outdoors people, but not expert Kayakers by any means. Noah did a great job of creating a trip on the fly that would accommodate our skill levels and the current... More

We took the 2 hour sunset kayak tour and really enjoyed it. Seeing Seattle from the water give a new perspective and great photo ops. There was some confusion regarding our reservation (my fault) and they were quick to correct the problem so that we could still take advantage of our prepaid tour. Our tour guide, Tom was very personable... More

I rented two bikes ... they were both nice beach cruisers (appropriate since we were cruising along the Alki Beach) which rode smoothly and were cool to take down the very extensive and wide bike lanes all the way down the Alki strip. I did not rent a kayak or reserve a tour ... but we saw the sunset tour... More

One of the great things about Seattle is that it has outdoor activities. My husband and I really wanted to take a Kayak Tour so we could see the city from the water. This was our first time kayaking, and I don't think either of us knew how much work we would have to put into it. The first hour... More

I had a great time kayaking. It was my first time and I had the luxury of being the only one in this tour...the introduction to kayaking before getting into the water was to the point and very helpful. The guide, Amanda, was great and shared tidbits and stories about the history and wildlife. Perfect day out, I highly recommend... More

My boyfriend and I recently went on a sunset tour with Alki Kayak Tours. We arrived at the shop a few minutes before it was time for us to leave. They let us take some bicycles that they have available for rent to tour the beach area- how nice?! It was both of our first times in a kayak and... More

We are not seasoned, nor particularly competent kayakers, but we went for it and totally enjoyed our time on the water. All morning seeing the Seattle views, the action on the water, getting exercise, being outdoors, what more could you want. I was glad it wasn't windy though!

We live nearby Alki. Alki Kayak Tours has been a recurrent go-to activity for visitors. Everything from kayak tours to paddle boards rentals, which has become all the easier to do when they have the renal tent up on Alki beach. During the summer, there is no better way to experience the awesome views of downtown Seattle South to Mt.... More

I was recently staying in downtown Seattle as part of a workshop. It was my first time to the pacific northwest, and I was looking for something to do that was a little out of the ordinary. I have my own kayak, and started looking for kayaking opportunities. Alki Kayak tours was very accessible - you can take the water... More
