We booked with Captn Mark and deckhand Mitchell on the Halibut / Lingcod combo trip from Anacortes, Wa. Left the dock on a early foggy morning with only a light breeze, little did we know what was in store for us that day. My hubby Andy and I joined with 4 other fellow fishermen, strangers to us but the love... More

We went out on the bottom fishing charter with Captain Brian and his deck hand Donny. My friend, Craig, and I took our adult kids out for a day of bottom fishing out of Westport WA. What a great time! We had wonderful weather, a great time catching up on each others lives and the bonus of limits all around... More

Brian and deckhand Don provided an outstanding fishing experience going for lingcod and black rockfish. There were only 3 of us angling and we all caught limits using great gear and thanks to the knowledgeable crew. Great boat, excellent equipment, and expert fish cleaning at the end.

This was my first salmon fishing experience and it was terrific! Everyone on the boat was super nice and I caught two king salmon thanks to everyone's support and Mark Coleman's expert guiding. I was a little nervous about going as a woman on my own but I can't imagine a more pleasant, comfortable experience than what transpired. Mark and... More

My wife was in Seattle for a conference and I flew out at the end of it to spend a few days with her. I decided to go a day early and try my luck steelhead fishing. After an early morning wakeup call and 2 1/2 hr drive from Seattle, I met up with my guide and we were dropping... More

Our family of 3 inexperienced fishermen took the Humptulip River drift trip for Steelhead the first week of March. Ray, our guide, took the time at the beginning of the trip to teach us how to cast. We caught 3 fish early on, then 2 more further down the river. The scenery was breathtaking!! A bald eagle followed us for... More

I had the great pleasure to go tuna fishing with Mark and his crew this fall. It was my first tuna trip, along with his crew of deckhand Donald and Mark's wife, Merry, who coordinated the arrangements for my trip. To say the trip was an unqualified success would be an understatement. The trip was the end of September, and... More

Took my 2 boys to experience drift fishing on the Humptulips the first week in Jan. The newly renovated bunkhouse is very accommodating. We hooked into one big Silver and had several steelhead hits. Our guide Mike was fantastic and made up for the lack of cooperative fish that day. Would definitely do the trip again.

I've fished with Mark and his team, out of Westport, for salmon and tuna, but never did the drift boat thing...(Humptulips river drifting). I was alittle apprehensive, but once on the water and three fish later, I was hooked. Ian, our guide for the day, knew all the right spots and told us exactly what to do to catch fish... More

I have fished with mark and his staff for 8 or 10 years. All experiences have been positive and of course some better than others...this one being lights out. Mark and his fellow guides go that extra step to give you the opportunity to be successful. My friend and I caught 27 out of 41 hooked on two successive days.... More
