This food tour walks one through the history and philosophy of the Market with sweet and tasty "bites" along the way. "Bites" doesn't do it justice--we were served large portions at every stop. Our tour guide, Amy, was engaging and extremely knowledgeable of the history of the Market, and it was clear Amy has developed strong connections with the vendors,... More

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR NOTE!!!! I spoke to Amy after seeing that 1-star review (our 2nd one in 6 years) and she was pretty upset. She did mention some of the things you mentioned about that guest and I chose not to address those with my response but am glad that you did! I know Amy and what... More

What a great tour & tour guide (we had Amy). We went on a Saturday and there were only 9 of us on the tour - two had food restrictions (vegan & vegetarian) and most of the places we went to were accommodating with no warning (not sure why you would go on a food tour with limitations but that's... Appreciate the kinds words about Amy! We do offer substitutions for Vegan and Gluten at almost all of our bites. I think you and I might have emailed each other about children in strollers and my recommendation is to carry your child and avoid strollers if possible. The Market can be challenging for to wheelchairs and strollers due to the... More

We did two food tours of the Market and enjoyed them both, but Am and the Bites tours was the best. She did a great job with the presentation and was very informative. The samples we recieved were also more generous with a greater variety of tastes.

Thanks for the compliments and the 5-star review. One of the things were hear from our guests is that our portions are quite generous and we expose you to merchants that are not easy to find in the Market. It was our intent when we began this tour some 6 years ago to provide just that: Big portions with talented... More

They say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! This is certainly applicable to this fantastic tour. I fell completely in love with Pike's Place Market thanks in large part to Amy the wonderful guide. I was expecting to enjoy all sorts of yummies (it is a food tour after-atl) but it was that and much MUCH... More

THANK YOU for this great review! I can't help but think that since this terrific review was written just after the 1-star review that you were biased in defending what we have worked so hard to provide for our guests. You really nailed what what the experience is all about - not only food but a special connection to the... More

My wife and I enjoyed our tour with Amy and have reccomended it to others already. I thought it was informative and entertaining. Amy sure knows her stuff and the merchants know her...really like her. We recieved first class treatment...the food was exceptional...I especially like the history and humor. Time just flew away. It's something that I would do again... More

Thanks for the great review and the recommendations. A great number of our guests come from recommendations. Appreciate your comment about first-class treatment as I often comment that our tour hosts are world-class and do everything they can to ensure a great guest experience. Best, Mark More

This tour would be perfect for some one who is much more interested in how Pike Place Market has been able to survive in a big bad business world than in enjoying a tasty tour of this food-famous locale. No matter your politics, it got really old hearing over and over again from our guide Amy how vendors in Pike... More

Well, that’s a lot to respond to. I can see that you are not only disappointed and there seems to be a lot of anger in your response. I am hoping to provide some clarity about the experience we have worked so long and hard to provide for our guests. In general, the Market offers so much more than flowers... More

We found this tour by accident and I'm SO glad we did! Amy (our guide) was friendly, knowledgable, and fun! We learned so much about Pike Place and the food we tasted was outstanding! It sure was nice to skip the long lines! We've already recommended this tour to friends planning to visit Seattle.

Our guide Amy was excellent, very knowledgeable. It is clear that she has really taken a lot of time to meet and get to know the people at the market. This tour was so much fun! We learned a lot about the market, tried some things we otherwise wouldn't have (out of the way, long lines, etc), and our tour guide was very knowledgable and fun! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for something to do in Seattle!

Nice variety of "bites". Emphasis on local merchants. Make sure you start hungry. Was a little slow in the middle. We do feel that the tour was a good value and lots of fun.
