Description: Bill Speidel's Underground Tour is a leisurely, guided walking tour...
Bill Speidel's Underground Tour is a leisurely, guided walking tour beneath Seattle’s sidewalks and streets. As you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, our guides regale you with the stories our pioneers didn’t want you to hear. It’s history with a twist! The tour begins inside Doc Maynard’s Public House, a restored 1890s saloon. Following a short intro, we’ll walk through historic Pioneer Square to three different sections of Underground—about three blocks in all...

The underground tour was cool to see and definitely worth the money. For a small cost you can hear and see a little bit of history. The tour guides made it interesting and fun and its only an hour and a half so it doesn't drag on. Recommend checking it out!

We had Graham on our tour and really enjoyed him. He had a dry sense of humor but we appreciated it and he made us laugh several times. The history was really fascinating - and I'm not much of a history buff. We were ready to be done by the 75 minute mark, but we're glad we learned a little... More

My sister recommended me this tour and I went earlier in the month. The tour begins with an introduction of Seattle and you go underground to what the city was before it was burned in the 1880s. Just to let you know, go to the bathroom before the tour and not good for the physically handicapped since it is a... More

Was disappointed in the tour. Was expecting more. Limited as to what you see. A lot of up and down stairs. Have to be careful as the tunnels are old. Stay with group you can be locked in.

I didn't know about this, was taken by a friend that lives in Seattle. Because I didn't have any expectations I was surprised by the history of the underground areas. The guide were had was funny and informative. Answered everyone's questions. It was a little bit rushed where I would have liked a chance to take a few more photos.

We thought this would be interesting, and it was, but not as interesting as it could have been. The guide was very corny. The history portion was great, but expected to see more than basically basements which is what we saw.

This was well worth it and very entertaining. The tour takes you beneath the streets of Seattle and explains it's history. Guide was very funny and entertaining. There were a lot of people on this tour. I was surprised at how big it was. We did break into smaller groups.

If you go in with an open mind you will love it. We all had our minds made up of what we thought we were going to see and it was not what we thought. Still well worth the price and a neat tour to take. make sure to order something from the cafe inside to get priority seating.

We bought a drink so we got red cards that said we could go in 15 minutes early, which meant nothing for everyone else came in at same time, The lady giving the presentation was excellent. She bashed the guy from Tacoma a lot and Canadian which I am one but took it all in stride. The tour itself was... More

The tour wasn't anything what we had anticipated. The tour starts with walking out on sidewalk and going down one underground street. You do this two more times. WHAT IS DISAPPOINTING IS THAT THERE ARE NO STORE FRONTS ETC.. Its just a bunch of old walls.Don't waste your money on this one.
