Description: Bill Speidel's Underground Tour is a leisurely, guided walking tour...
Bill Speidel's Underground Tour is a leisurely, guided walking tour beneath Seattle’s sidewalks and streets. As you roam the subterranean passages that once were the main roadways and first-floor storefronts of old downtown Seattle, our guides regale you with the stories our pioneers didn’t want you to hear. It’s history with a twist! The tour begins inside Doc Maynard’s Public House, a restored 1890s saloon. Following a short intro, we’ll walk through historic Pioneer Square to three different sections of Underground—about three blocks in all...

This tour is different than is was many years ago when I last went, but it was still interesting. Fun for adults, but not so much a kid thing.

A great tour to see another part of Seattle's past. Our tour guide was great. He kept us engaged and laughing the whole time. He was very pleasant and easy to talk to about the tour.

This was a fun afternoon tour of underground Seattle. The narration featured a lot of the city's history. We recommend the afternoon tour for families since the evening one is probably a bit racier. They also offer a ghost tour, amongh others. It is definitely best to reserve ahead of time. On arrival you are given a wrist band and... More

My group went on this tour because I wanted to. I liked it but had to admit that it was not the greatest tour. Younger people (below 60) would probably like it better. We thought the tour guide used a lot of vulger language.

It was a great tour!! The sights themselves are such an awesome visit to the past. And the tour guides make it an entertaining hit! Don't miss this awesome attraction. And don't confuse it with 'Beneath the Streets' which shows up first when you google the tour. The one you want - this one - is right across from the... More

We were excited to take the underground tour based on what others had said. It was not the best. We were in a group of about 30 people. The tour guide kept talking despite the fact that those of us at the end of the line could not hear a thing. He talked so fast that we missed most of... More

The Underground tour id a must for Seattle visitors...our guide could speak Japanese and English and knew how to deliver punchlines to many a bad joke...a rare quality. Knowledgeable and fun...you'll leave this tour with history and a new eye on the city.

I went on this underground tour with my family. The tour guide made it fun, his name was Graham. It was about 1 hour & 15 minutes long. It was fun if you want to learn about the history of Seattle!

The Underground tour is 90 minute walking tour of the first level of the Pioneer area of Seattle. Very cool history-Architectural, Political, Economic and Social. After 7:00 the tours are adult only but day tours are kept family friendly. There were families on the tour that this review is based and by stop two they were bored.

The tour was a fun way to spend almost 1.5 hours. You really don't see a lot, only maybe 4 locations. It's a lot of talk of what used to be there but not actually too many things to see. That being said - the guide was fun and provided interesting tidbits of history of the area and the buildings.... More
