I had the opportunity to see the Seattle Symphony Orchestra perform a Pixar compilation of the music and clips of its most beloved movies. It was a beautiful and memorable event being able to experience some of the most celebrated scores of Pixar's movies. If you have a chance, GO!

One of my favorite venues in Seattle for top quality classical performers and readings by my favorite writers. Benaroya is also at a great location with wonderful restaurants within walking distance for meals before or after. Parking is reasonably priced and there is easy access to I-5.

The Seattle Chamber Music Society offers free 30 minute recitals one hour prior to their mainstage concerts during the summer. They're held in the Nordstrom Recital Hall, not the auditorium, and even though we arrived less than five minutes before the recital, there were still some seats available. We heard a lovely concert of Bartok music for two violins. The... More

These folks recently debuted an acclaimed work at Carnegie Hall, and they are on more people's maps. But they have always had an exquisite sound. If I were richer and had time for it, I'd attend every performance, even Mahler <shudder>. The musical options are very varied and there are so many different kinds of subscriptions, times (the shorter, untuxed... More

I have been to lots of different show in this hall. Everything sounds nice. Even went to a swing dance there.

The sound is great, the symphony is solid, and the atmosphere worth the price of the tickets. In the entry hall there is a nice variety of amenities such as an espresso bar, a gourmet-grab-and-go restaurant, and a coat check -- all under one-of-a-kind Chihuly glass sculptures and soaring ceilings. Inside, there are several pre-order bars where you can arrange... More

The sound here is amazing. If there is a show the tickets can be pricey but worth if is something you are interested in. Plus there are Chihuly sculptures in the entry.

What an amazing place to hear live music. We went for Benaroya Hall for he first time for the Danny Elfman/Tim Burton "concert" and were blown away by the acoustics. We are not symphony fans but may become fans after the incredible sounds we heard. There's not a bad seat in the whole place.
