play here. These are names, who could fill a larger hall easily, that play in a comfortable smaller intimate venue that puts you close to the music. Taj Mahal and Marcia Ball are two concerts I've been to. Very highly recommended to get on their mailing list. The ticket prices are a very good value and the artists will often... More

Jazz Alley is a small venue showcasing great music. You can enjoy cocktails or have dinner during the show. I always check them out when I'm in town.

This is a real classic! Step into the fifties/sixties and imagine Brubeck on stage. We were treated to the John Pizzarelli Quartet and a really magical evening. Staff is excellent and available and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Make reservations as this place is very popular and has a great line-up of artists through the end of... More

This was our second visit to the Jazz Alley. We came to see Greg Adams perform. The first time we had dinner here, the second time we just had drinks. The first time we were disappointed by the food. We have never been disappointed by the music. Greg Adams is top notch, and he put on quite an impressive show... More

Check the website for this venue before you go. Advance ticket holders who opt in for dinner get preferential seating, and the food is quite good. We sat less than ten feet from blues legend John Mayhall. Even without the dinner option, the place is so small there are no bad seats. A high-point of our vacation.

We were looking for a music venue in Seattle..and eyes caught the listing of the former members of Tower of Power now called "East Bay Soul" playing at JA. Since it was our first time..we went with the dinner reservations and a show. Glad we did. We liked the larger open room. We sat in tier 1 (#65?) - because... More

Wasn't sure what to expect on a Wednesday night, before the 4th of July. Arrived to find the club only half full...but, after the performance started, we were glad we came! Greg Adams (formerly Tower of Power) East Bay Soul played. He and his band were fabulous. We had great seats right next to the stage. Surprisingly, the audience not... More

I listen to jazz and try to catch it live when I can, and I try to fit it into my travels. This is a very good venue. It's a good size without crowding, yet it's still intimate. Probably the second best jazz venue I've been to on the West Coast (Yoshi's in SF & Oakland is #1). I encourage... More

Small intimate setting where every table is a great table. Felt totally comfortable on my own and appreciated that I could reserve a table and pick my seats ahead of time. The food and drink mene was fine, but the music is what makes the place. if you love live music and especially jazz, you have to stop here!

I save to shows: Regina Carter - excellent Alabama fiddle! Fred Hersch Trio - Brilliant, but I would have preferred a little more swing and less sound tapestry.
