We were looking for a music venue in Seattle..and eyes caught the listing of the former members of Tower of Power now called "East Bay Soul" playing at JA. Since it was our first time..we went with the dinner reservations and a show. Glad we did. We liked the larger open room. We sat in tier 1 (#65?) - because... More

Wasn't sure what to expect on a Wednesday night, before the 4th of July. Arrived to find the club only half full...but, after the performance started, we were glad we came! Greg Adams (formerly Tower of Power) East Bay Soul played. He and his band were fabulous. We had great seats right next to the stage. Surprisingly, the audience not... More

I listen to jazz and try to catch it live when I can, and I try to fit it into my travels. This is a very good venue. It's a good size without crowding, yet it's still intimate. Probably the second best jazz venue I've been to on the West Coast (Yoshi's in SF & Oakland is #1). I encourage... More

Small intimate setting where every table is a great table. Felt totally comfortable on my own and appreciated that I could reserve a table and pick my seats ahead of time. The food and drink mene was fine, but the music is what makes the place. if you love live music and especially jazz, you have to stop here!

I save to shows: Regina Carter - excellent Alabama fiddle! Fred Hersch Trio - Brilliant, but I would have preferred a little more swing and less sound tapestry.

We chose a Thursday evening (1 show only), & dinner to be up by the stage. Service was good, and we had a great evening. The performers gave us a great show, & we loved it: Regina Carter Southern Comfort, see http://reginacarter.com/ The food was not the highlight of the evening (to be expected) but the morrocan lamb was very... My husband and I came from Vancouver BC to see Envogue. It was his first time to the club and my second. These 3 ladies from Envogue and their band were amazing. First class entertainment!!! The venue has had a renovation since my last visit. Food was very good. We had appetizers as we had already eaten a late lunch.... More

We've always wanted to come here & really enjoyed ourselves. Service was good, the entertainment as well. They have a chocolate cake to die for, with fresh fruit on the side. The whole place is set up so the view of the stage is pretty good from almost anywhere and we enjoyed our back row booth seats upstairs. We'll be... More

I haven't been there for deveral years. Came today and was pleasantly surprised: venue underwent big renovation-i't modern design, way more room., good food, bar. And good music. Primarily for jazz lovers, but there is more diversity of musicians. No junk music at all. Highly recommend to go for quality music and atmosphere.

If you are looking for a fun date night, book a table at Jazz Alley. Most of the tables are for two and lit exclusively by candlelight for a romantic feel. The service was great and the food was awesome. I had the Ling Cod with an herbed, butter sauce, small red potatoes and steamed veggies. It was all cooked... More
