A must in Seattle

If you find yourself in Seattle check out the lineup at Jazz Alley, I love the place! It's small enough that all seats are great, the food is decent for a Jazz venue.

Spent a couple hours at Dimitriou's Jazz Alley- Enjoyed the opening set by Tess Henley- a very talented local signer composer- great on the keyboard too and the main attraction - the unforgettable Bettye LaVette and her wonderful band! We had reserved a seat in the balcony because we did not go for dinner but when we arrived the balcony... More

You can have a dinner and show or just drinks and show. There is not a bad seat in the house. We got there late and still got a great seat. Artists change all the time but we now have gone twice and both times had great entertainment. Not far from the convention center too!

My husband and I were out walking and ended up near Jazz Alley of which we had read about in one of our brochures. The Jones singers were such a talented and musical family. I was talking to the waitress and telling her where we were from when the young lady next to us says she is from there also.... More

We were a party of six that went to see Al Dimeola last night. To be honest we were a little trepidaceous about the food because of other reviews. Several of us at the table are foodies. However, we decided to have dinner there - and were really glad we did! We had five different dishes at our table, and... More

Lucky enough to be in Seattle the same weekend Brian Culbertson was performing and able to get a ticket!! The show was great, of course. The venue is very nice, the sound was great. I had the dinner but was just OK. I could have had a much better $50 meal somewhere else. The get great performers there so definitely... More

We have been hearing about and recommending to all that visit Seattle to make the Jazz Alley -- top of their Live entertainment list. We arrived in time for the second show--tickets pre-purchased, as it is usually booked weeks in advance. We had the treat of seeing Liesa Fischer and the Grand Baton from Guataloupe---- Outstanding vocals--outstanding backup trio. We... More

We combined dinner and a David Sunburn concert for our evening. The dinner was wonderful with three having the Alaskan cod and one having the organic grilled chicken salad. Everyone loved their meals. Service was excellent. Two of us had the gelatiamo and thoroughly enjoyed that. Add to the experience - 1.5 hours of David Sanborn!

It was a treat to go out with friends on a Monday night to Dimitriou's Jazz Alley. The Nir Felder Quartet brought us some wonderful original jazz music via guitar, drums, base and piano. Didn't appear to be a bad seat in the house to view the stage and we were seated near the stage ($26.50/each). Just make sure you... More

I tagged along with 2 friends/colleagues who know much more about jazz that I do. I was surprised how early things started and finished- it was over by about 9pm. The atmosphere is like something out of Mad Men- another era- just missing the smoke plumes from every table. The music was great and atmosphere nostalgic. We had a table... More
