Get a running start on solid ground and take flight into the treetops of the Alaskan rainforest, and over glacially fed waterfalls! The fun begins with an entertaining historic tour through downtown Skagway, then along 9 miles of stunning coastline. When you arrive at our base in Dyea, you will climb into our customized unimog—an all-wheel drive vehicle necessary for getting up our rugged mountain road. During your adventurous ride up the mountain, look out at the impressive rainforest and glacially fed waterfalls. Get psyched—you’re about to fly over this wild landscape! At the top of the mountain, you will suit up in gear that meets the most rigorous standards of safety while your highly trained guide tells you what to expect and how to safely navigate the course. You will then be led to the take-off zone, where you’ll be clipped in and fly away! You’ll soar through a course of 11 ziplines, the longest measuring 750ft—that’s longer than 2 football fields combined! This is more than just any zip course, though. Our lines will bring you directly above glacially fed waterfalls! For the more cautious adventurers, rest assured that you can always control your own speed with a brake system—but we “double-dog” dare you to let go and zoom up to 45 miles per hour! Of course, that’s a little too fast to take those perfect pictures of the Alaskan wilderness. That’s why we added 4 state of the art suspension bridges to our course. From these bridges, you’ll be able to capture stunning photos of you and your loved ones in the heart of Alaska’s wild beauty. This is bound to be an “E.X.C.U.R.S.I.O.N. of a lifetime,” one you will surely remember for years to come! « less

I have zip lined before - but nothing this fun and exciting. Our family group ranged from 14 years old to 70 years old - and everyone had a blast. The guides were easy-going and encouraging. Safety was always number one - but by the end all of us felt comfortable enough to trip a flip or go upside down.... More

Booked directly and was super pleased with customer service (had to cancel one reservation - they were very helpful). The excursion itself was AMAZING - 3 kids under 12 in our party plus 3 adults - super impressed with entire operation. Our guides - Chris and Autumn - were the best. Great with our kids - very on top of... More

We like to go ziplining every chance we get, so we jumped at the chance to do this trip. The guides were hilarious - one, Dylan, looked like the DJ from "Northern Exposure" - and they encouraged us to do tricks like front flips and backwards death dives. They kept it real - safety is a big point with them... More

We recently did this on our Alaskan cruise while visiting Skagway. Jenny picked us up in town and drove us out to base camp. She had lots of information concerning the town as well as the coast we had to follow to get there. Dylan and Rook were our guides and from the beginning, they made us feel at ease.... More

If you have done the rain forest canopy zip lines around the world--skip this one. It is sitting in a chair sliding down a mountain. If you have never done it, then you will love this experience.

What an amazing time! Start out with a ride to the top of the mountain in this crazy cool transformer like thing and then zip line down 11 lines! The staff was absolutely spectacular! Props to Brandi and Freddy! You guys are AWESOME! :) Staci Deal

Don't Think, Just Do It.: If you are debating it just stop. Possibly the most fun that I have ever had and glad to say I crossed it off my "list". Tour guides were friendly, and made you feel comfortable. Even with a fear of heights you can easily relax into the zip lines and enjoy the ride of your... More

We would not have considered this shore excursion had our granddaughter (age 11) not beguiled us and her parents with her persuasive powers. At age 71, my husband and I did not think it a great idea to risk our lives flying through the Sitka spruce on a cold, rainy day. How could this possibly be any fun? But it... More

This was an absolute blast! From start to finish - the base camp is in a beautiful location, the ride on the "Mog" was hilarious and fun, and the zipping was FANTASTIC! Our guides were the lovely and talented Carolyn and Laura and the ladies made sure our group of 6 adults had a blast! We learned front flips, upside... More

Grizzly Falls is at the top of our list for the best things we did on our Alaskan cruise. Booking was very easy right on the Grizzly Falls website. From the start we felt very taken care of. We were picked up right in front of our cruise ship, and then shuttled to base camp. The trip was very enjoyable... More
