We really enjoyed this tour. The guides were informative, entertaining, and enthusiastic. The costumes and sites made our Alaskan cruise memorable.

Don't leave Skagway without doing this tour! Nikki, our tour guide, dressed in early 20th Century attire, was a font of captivating stories of the past. We'd disembarked from an Alaskan cruise to this whirl of enthusiasm for her town and it's history! What a joy! Her interpersonal skills and social intelligence in rallying a group of strangers for a... More

We have just returned from our cruise and self-guided land tour of Alaska and want to share our experience in Skagway. First of all, this is an ADORABLE and BEAUTIFUL port. The people, shops, view, and experience was most enjoyable. And for a small town, Skagway did a great job managing the large number of guests that were in port... More

We do not name of our guide/driver, but she was absolutely delightful in telling stories of the town and its history. We met 2 other drivers of this company on our trip, who seemed equally "uplifting". This trip of a few hours was worth every penny we spent on it. We can recommend this to EVERYONE. We are so happy... More

This was a great introduction to Skagway and we enjoyed every minute. Our tour guide, Stephanie, was just wonderful and threw herself into the drama and excitement of Gold Rush Skagway with gusto, as though this was the first time she had ever done it. We loved the stories and the depiction of the colourful characters, brought to life in... More

If you want a great tour of Skagway with local history explanations, this is for you. The women who gave our tour was very knowledgeable on local history and willing to share information with us. Also, very amendable to answering any questions about local history. This tour is a great overview of Skagway and fun to do.

My wife and I agreed that Charity was hands down the best tour guide we had on our Alaska trip. Dressed in the finery of her gold rush era costume, she recounted story after story as we rode through town and up into the mountains. We enjoyed her stories very much and have shared them with others who enjoyed them... More

This tour gives you a fast overview of the town, its sights and history. The guides (ours was Jeanne, pronounced "john") was a perky local. Their shtick seems pretty scripted, but is written to be entertaining. It is over the top, but that fits with the time they're talking about (note the bus and the tour guides outfits also harken... We had Michaela as our tour guide. To be honest at first we thought it would be very lame but within minutes we were enthralled with her stories. She was so informative and interesting.
