When I go to an new place, I like to learn about its history! I will either do a walking tour or bus tour. This sounded fun and IT WAS. I learned a lot about Skagway, its history and people. Learned quirky stuff about how often food is shipped here, the cost of some food, the cost to rent a... More

We enjoyed the tour, the guide was full of great information. Cemetery was a must see, amazing old cemetery wish we would have got ton at little more history of the other buried there. Also great information on life in Skagway winter and summer.

First the positives. The driver had a pleasant voice. Unfortunately, a bus wasn't really needed in a one-street town that is Skagway. You can see the attractions better close up on foot. And yes, it's just a bus, not a street car, with uncomfortable seats. The only transportation needed is to go out to the Gold Rush Cemetary - which... More

We really enjoyed the Street Car Tour. The girl that was our guide was fantastic, great sense of humour and very knowledgeable. It's only a small town but she kept us entertained for over an hour.

I really enjoyed this tour! Our tour guide Shauna, was great. She was dressed in clothes from the 1900's and did a great job narrating the tour. The town is not very large, but we learned a lot about the area and the part it played in the gold rush. This excursion was the best value on our cruise.

The tour lasted 1 1/2 hours and covered more in that time than I could have in an entire afternoon. The driver (guide) was very knowledgeable and was dressed in early 1900 costume. The tour took us around the entire town (including the historic cemetery) and the driver it seemed had an unending stream of history and minutia to keep... More

Booked from Norwegian Cruise Line, we had a 1020 tour. The lady, Rame, who was driving was very knowledgeable about the town and the characters that lived there. We also got to see the graveyard and look down from the heights to see all the town.

Excellent tour guides and a great tour in a windy and pretty cold small town. Only available through cruise tours, so check on this if you are an independent like me! Take a later tour, NOT 8:30. It's a short walk from ship to town, so explore first and then take the 10:30 or 12:30 tour when you are ready... More

We had an 8:30am Skagway Yellow Taxi tour. Our driver and tour director was Charity. Charity was an actress, dressed up in old fashioned clothes who gave the running commentary of the tour. Charity was very likeable and friendly, but her “schtick” didn’t sit well with us. We didn’t find her humor funny. We wished the 90 minutes was filled... More

We booked when on Holland American cruise waiting for our criuse tour to begin. We got off the ship at 8am and met our guide. Cute gal can not remember her name and she was dressed up. Loved riding in those old touring cars. She was great with the town and history and we went out to the old cemetery... More
