We were in Skagway on one of the last Alaska Cruises of the season. So the town was almost deserted, and indeed some shops had already shut up, and others were clearly in the process of doing so. Our (fairly small bus disguised to look like a street car) was by no means full. Our tour guide was a young... More

If you want a fun tour that is also rich in information, this is it! The whole trip was one of entertaining banter with our driver/guide, who provided an amusing but informative guide around Skagway. The vehicle is fairly basic ... it is based on an historic model ... so it's not the luxurious seating that most of us are... More

You travel in an old street car with your driver dressed in period clothing. Various places are visited and historical stories told taking you back in time to the Klondike gold mining era.

We had Remi, a lovely lady who had dressed in period costume and was quite delightful, to drive us around in the little yellow school bus. She was originally from Wisconsin, I believe, and was a great story teller with a lovely voice I could listen to all day. I especially enjoyed visiting the cemetary as they are always places... The trip only takes 90 mins and is a great summary of all that's to see and hear about Skagway. In addition the driver we had was thoroughly entertaining. I've been on many bus tours and the narrator seem to try their best to make what they are telling you as uninteresting as possible. Not on this tour. The driver... More

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour! Our guide, Nicki, was very knowledgeable. She shared her information in such a fun way that it was easy to remember! Well worth the cost!

Our tour guide was Remi (hope I'm spelling that right) and she was fantastic. She was very informative and personable. My family and I (all adults) had a great time. The tour takes you around town and to an overlook so you can see the whole town including the port and see part of a glacier.

We really enjoy these types of tours that explain highlights of the area. Our driver/tour guide Rainey was very lively and fun, told dumb little jokes and was easy to understand.

2 hour trip in a tiny town with a great hostess, Peggy. We did this right off the boat and had a great time. A must do in Skagway to understand the town and set up your Klondike trip.
