A tame but great trip. Not really expensive for what it is but not a lot to see in Skagway anyway. Informative a really fun commentary throughout it gets you through and out of town with a photo stop and visit to the genuine local cemetery steeped in history. Check out Soapy Smiths grave and his killer's too. No loo... More

We did this trip after the Yukon scenic territory drive which was beautiful & very informative. This trip was roughly 1.5 hours, informative & concentrated on gold rush & Soapy Smith! Drivers are dressed up, they are very funny & dramatic

Our tour guide Nicky was a ball of fun, dressed in period costume and has lived here most of her life. We were shown the town, lookouts, the local cemetery and given a very vivid and graphic account of local history. The hardships the gold miners endured on the way to the Yukon, were just amazing. The bus suits the... More

One of our stops on our Alaskan cruise. We enjoyed this tour of Skagway. Our driver, Shauna was lots of fun, and really excited about her role, which made for a happy, cheery tour. The streetcar was comfortable, easy to get on and off, lots of chances for photos. Definitely worth the ride to learn about the history of Skagway.

One of the great things about this tour is they pick you up at your cruise ship. Our tour guide was Nicky and she was the best. She was wearing period clothes and her knowledge about the history of Skagway was so interesting. This is our 4th trip to Skagway but the first time to do this tour and I... More

Our guide was Mikaela (sp) and she has so much personality and is such a huge fan of Skagway. Great story about her move up to Alaska from California all by herself! She's such an enthusiastic supporter of the community and obviously loves this small town. Her tales of Soapy Smith and other local color were so entertaining. She's such... More

Riding the City Tour Bus was lots of fun with our tour guide Elsie at the helm pointing out the landmarks along the way. It was a relatively short tour since this town is just so tiny running about 5 blocks wide and 20 deep with a population of around 900. We learned about the days of the Gold Rush... More

This tour was about 2 miles long as the little town of Skagway is, well, little. But the tales we heard from our guide/driver were great stories of the old wild northwest.

We booked the Skagway City tour through the Celebrity Cruise Lines booking system and we had a wonderful time. Our costumed tour guide was Ramie and she was very entertaining and enthusiastic. We learned a great deal about the city of Skagway, were taken to a beautiful overlook and learned all about Soapy Smith. We highly recommend this tour. A... More

Very good tour with 'fine actress' (Nicky) who reminded me of Ruby Wax. Not only did we learn about Soapy Smith the local historical villian but also how the people of modern Skagway live.
