This tour gives you a fast overview of the town, its sights and history. The guides (ours was Jeanne, pronounced "john") was a perky local. Their shtick seems pretty scripted, but is written to be entertaining. It is over the top, but that fits with the time they're talking about (note the bus and the tour guides outfits also harken... We had Michaela as our tour guide. To be honest at first we thought it would be very lame but within minutes we were enthralled with her stories. She was so informative and interesting.

We decided to go on this tour at the last moment. It was really enjoyable. The driver/ tour guide was Valerie who was fantastic. She was so sweet, informative and hilarious. We didn't get a chance to shop in Skagway, but the stores looked to be of higher quality and better than those in Juneau. We are glad we tooled... More

We took the tour on a rainy day, but from the very start, the activity was pure entertainment that brought sunshine and warmth. The tour guide and driver, dressed in 1898 clothes, took us back in time in this town that is much as it was over 100 years ago. Still, the guide was also one of the locals, and... More

We came off the cruises ship and took the tour. This is a town for tourists. Some older buildings still exist, lots of shops with the same merchandise.

We learned everything you wanted to know about Skagway past and present on this tour. Our tour guide/ driver was a blast and was very open to questions. Do you really need a tour for such a small town as Skagway...yes, if you want to learn about their interesting history and current way of life!

Riding on a completely restored Mack 1927 vintage bus with a knowledgeable local woman guide, also in vintage attire, you'll get a wonderful 90-minute tour of the waterfront, town, residential district, and a great panorama from a scenic overlook. The guide also recounts the Soapy Smith gunfight at the Gold Rush Cemetery. Good fun.

Charity and L.C. helped us step back in time to a rowdy Skagway. They brought history alive with humor and fun.

Did this tour while on a cruise that stopped in Skagway. What fun!!! The drivers dress in period outfits and really know the area!! We had a great tour of Skagway and a very entertaining trip to the local cemetery where we learned about some local characters who are both buried there for all eternity. Very entertaining, comfortable and I... More
