On our first port-of-call on a Carnival Alaskan Inside Passage, we chose this excursion. It was fun from beginning to end! We had to adorn astronaut-like orange water suits as we embarked on a high-speed, thrilled-filled wilderness adventure. There were several stops to learn of the geography and inhabitants of the Fjord. Seals, sea lions, bald eagles, waterfalls, mussels, and... More

This is the best thing to do in Skagway by far. The boat ride by itself is a blast. Doughnuts at high speed and darting in an out of narrow inlets at high speed. Throw in a bunch of Eagles and Seals at close range and you have one amazing adventure. Back to the dock in 2 hours. Relatively speaking... More

Get off the cruise ship and onto the water! Alaska can be seen from many different viewpoints, but for up close experiences the jet boat excursion is hard to beat. After 5 days doing ho-hum excursions it was great to finally do one that was fun. Initially I was a bit worried about the roughness - I've had several neck... More

It was so much fun to travel down the Lynn Canal with Ocean Raft. The boat was fun. The guide and the pilot were fun and knowledgeable. We saw eagles, seals, and sea creatures. That is we saw them in between doing donuts on the sea and racing close to glacier carved rock faces. Even took time to enjoy the... More

Such a wonderful tour experience! Compared to what other tours cost in Alaska, Ocean Raft offered great value for what they charged. We saw tons of eagles and seals. It was unfortunate that we didn't see any bears or whales, but from what I've heard, it just completely depends on luck. Nevertheless, the tour guides were awesome! They passionately shared... More

When we donned our survival suits, my 12-year-old son and I boldly turned down the offer of goggles and balaklavas. After Captain Ashley's first spin around the Lynn Canal, we opted for every layer they could give us. We were warm and comfy after that. I was expecting a thrill ride, but the kind of thrill we got did not... More

Great family fun. We are a family of 4 and range in age between 11 - 50. We all enjoyed this adventure. You stay warm and dry as you fly through the Fjords. We saw several eagles and seals. The kids loved the speed but we all always felt safe. My only negative is that this was over way too... More

Yes those are survival suits in the pictures. More to keep you warm than because you may get thrown from the boat; our boat drivers hit some good speeds and made some good turns but if you stayed in your saddle (boat uses semi-stand saddles which are more comfy than they first appear) you would be fine. The huge advantage... More
