It was a beautiful day in Skagway. THE VIEWS WERE BREATHTAKING, A must to do when in Alaska. The people from Temsco were very helpful from the shuttle driver to the pilot.

My wife and I were lucky enough to get spots on this tour. We had a similar trip planned the day before in Juneau, that was cancelled due to weather. We called Temsco as we were going to be in Skagway the next day, and they had 2 open seats which were offered (and also cheaper than we had budgeted!).... More

The tour was the highlight of our vacation. The Helicopter picked us and landed us on a Glacier. I was a little afraid being I never flew In a helicopter before. The staff there coached us before take off, we knew what to expect. I was told if going to Alaska to budget for a helicopter ride. Go see Temsco... More

This tour flys you directly to the Glacier where the helicopter lands. the pilot is also the guide on the glacier and explains all the in's and outs of the glacier, its movement, the underground cisterns that develop. It was well organized, they give you a safety briefing, then they suit you up with a special floatation vest, and then... More

The pick up from the cruise dock was very easy. They were holding a sign listing the excursion, we let them know we were ready and they directed us to a van waiting across the road. It was a short ride to the helipad. We were given snow shoes and safety vests. Then, we were quickly loaded into the helicopter.... More

This was an incredible experience. We were fortunate to do a glacier tour on a perfect, clear August day, so the helicopters were able to go high up on the glacier (about 2,500 feet). Seeing glaciers from the ground is one thing; seeing the vast ice fields up close from a helicopter once you got to the mountains was extraordinary.... More

Despite less than perfect weather, the TEMSCO team was cheery, professional and very organized. We were fortunate to have Heather as pilot AND guide on one of the last tours of the season. It was all we had hoped for and more! Would do this again in a heartbeat - well worth the price for such an amazing experience.

We are still in awe! We highly recommend you book this helicopter ride to the glaciers with TEMSCO. Just do it! This was our first time on a helicopter and two seconds into the flight all that nervousness was gone. The views were amazing. Our pilot was informative as he flew us to the glacier. Once we arrived to the... More

Walking on a glacier? Really? The Temsco people were sooo organized and professional and this was truly a HIGHLIGHT of our 2 weeks in Alaska. Drink from the glacier, people (I can't believe some people didn't!). Our guides were awesome and the glaciers were magnificent. The blue color was breathtaking. Nearly as impressive was the flight to and from the... More

Skagway has the best place for dog sledding. As it has a higher chance for the excursion to run rather than in Juneau which is more like a 50/50 chance of it going. You have to pack light for this trip as they weigh you with what you taking up so pretty good much you, your camera and a couple... More
