Skagway has the best place for dog sledding. As it has a higher chance for the excursion to run rather than in Juneau which is more like a 50/50 chance of it going. You have to pack light for this trip as they weigh you with what you taking up so pretty good much you, your camera and a couple... More

The helicopter ride makes you feel so tiny as you approach the majesty of glaciers in the sky. The helicopter in the lead position looked so small as we approached those mountains that it actually made me a little nervous. The dog sled experience was fantastic. Iditarod anyone? So glad that I volunteered to go first on the back of... More

My sister, myself and my son had planned a trip to the Yukon in Canada. I had always wanted to go dogsledding and as Skagway is not far from Whitehorse where we were to stay for a few days, we booked and paid for 3 spots on this dog sled tour many months before. The day of our tour arrived... More

We booked this helicopter/sled dog tour as a shore excursion on the Norwegian Jewel. It was AMAZING. The helicopter pilot was knowledgable. The scenery was breathtaking. But the best part was meeting the dogs and getting to take a ride around the glacier on the sled. These dogs love to run! I was worried it was expensive, but this was... More

Great experience. Had never been on a helicopter and just the ride and the scenery from the air would have been great on its own. Walking around the glacier was awesome. Our pilot was friendly and knowledgeable and concerned for our safety without being overly so. Anyone who goes to Alaska should do this.

We did the helicopter tour atop a glacier--one of our best experiences in Alaska. It was a bit of a walk to the facility (but the day was beautiful, so it was pleasant). once there, everyone was helpful and friendly. We had a short safety video, were fitted with glacier boots, and then were on our way. Our helicopter trip... More

The helicopter flight with Temsco was amazing! This was the first leg of our heli-hike-train excursion (Princess excursion SGY-850). We had perfect weather - sunny, few clouds, no wind - which is no an everyday condition in Skagway. Our pilot used the opportunity to give us a tour of spectacular mountains shaped by the glaciers. Ground crew was courteous, but... More

This service will undoubtedly get rave reviews because of the truly spectacular views available from the helicopters and also the access to dog sled riding. But the service itself is very badly organised by a bunch of teenagers who run around like headless chickens. The important factor in helicopter flying is weight so it's important to collect the weights of... More

My wife and I had a fantastic experience. The flight was scenic, the dogs and people were friendly, the dog sled ride was amazing. I highly recommend this tour! Yes, it's pricey, but worth the money to at least experience this once.

The Meade Glacier Tour hosted by Temsco was an amazing experience. We lived in Juneau last summer and had experienced the "liquid sunshine" of SE Alaska. The day we went our tour we had bright blue skies and a super friendly guide, Karley, who entertained and educated us on the Meade Gladier while on a short walking tour. We enjoyed... More
