Booked this through Carnival. This was a fantastic excursion! The train was awesome but the highlight of this trip was the hike to the Laughton Glacier. The guides (Andy, Ashley and Aya) were great. They were very knowledgeable about the area and very funny. The trail was beautifully maintained and an enjoyable hike for day hikers of all levels of... More

We booked this hike through Carnival Cruise Lines for a trip in June '15. We absolutely loved every minute of our trip with Packer Expeditions. We had three guides with our group Aya, Trina, and Kaylee. We had mainly Trina and Kaylee while Aya was with another (bit slower) section of the group. Iist say Trina and Kaylee were the... More

This trip was booked on the ship at the very last minute on a whim, I am so glad we chose this one. The train ride was so breathtaking and fun. There were so many spots for beautiful pictures and views. The train actually takes you into Frasure, B.C. to a lake at the foot of snow capped beautiful mountains... More

Our ship did not have this excursion -- I did research ahead of time and booked online. Fantastic! We had an awesome day with these guys. We took the train, which has some really interesting history, partway up and then debarked in some wilderness area, essentially, to start our hike. We had eight people on our hike, in their 30s... My husband and I booked this excursion from our Celebrity Solstice Cruise and it was the best thing we did! Our tour guides were Aya, Andy and John (Firebeard) and we loved them! Our guides were so knowledgeable and funny too!! They worked so hard and took such good care of us. Aside from our wonderful guides I cannot express... More

We booked this excursion through our Carnival Cruise Line. Our 18yo son picked it and we all had a great time. The trip started from Skagway. We took a train ride up to our hiking trail, and the guides quickly realized the group was traveling at 2 different speeds. Our son got to charge ahead with the faster group while... More

Funny, knowledgeable and engaging The hike was extensive but we went at a reasonable... More

Had a great experience. We had three guides to cover all bases which may have risen. All were knowledgable and capable and each brought something different to the experience. The hike itself is definitely do-able for novice hikers. The view is breathtaking and worth the 12 hour nights sleep my wife and I got once we got back to our... More
