need to take a boat tour to see this beautiful glacier. Saw some mountain goats on the hillside right next to the glacier. Spectacular scenery.

The Holgate Glacier is a beauty. We saw part of it collapse, while going by. This is my favorite glacier ever. I guess the only downside is the temperature. It drops 20 degrees so be ready

Beautiful Place, but like all the other glaciers it is fading fast. I was it 2 years ago and compared pictures, big changes. Recommend a visit

Kenai Fjords Tours gets you within 100 feet of this one. The ice walls are over 80 feet tall and you will likely see a calving event. Very cool.

We used (Allens Alaskan adventures) & it was an incredible experience. Waking up and going to sleep, to the view of Holgate Glacier was incredible. We were able to Kayak from our cabin... More

Saw Holgate Glacier from a Major Marine cruise booked from Seward. This was our first glacier visit and it didn't disappoint. The captain manuevered the boat for great photo ops and the glacier 'calved" several times while we we watching. Just a magnificent experience!

Holgate Glacier is an amazing sight. My husband, 11 year grand daughter and I spent three days camping, with our guide Dan, from Sunny Cove Kayaking Co. It rained the entire time we were there (what can you do about the weather?) It was still worth it to see the beauty of the glacier, hear the ice calving and see... More

Wonderful up close and personal look at a glacier. Listen to the avalanches when they hit the water. Really beautiful.

It was a beautiful glacier, lots of caving going on. Surrounded be sea loins, puffins and Eagles. Nice boat ride from Seward. We also saw fin and humpback whales,
