We went kyacking in Seward, Alaska with our guides Arthur and Tara. They were helpful, friendly and made sure everyone was safe at times. They shared a wealth of information about Alaska and their personal journeys. The highlight was seeing our first bald eagle fly right over heads. Of course the picture perfect weather surrounded by such beauty Made the... More

We did the Resurrection Bay kayak tour and it was fantastic. The owner John was our guide and was very knowledgeable and friendly . In addition to the kayaking experience, we got to see up close seal harbor, salmon returning to their home stream and examples from the 1964 tsunami. Great experience!

This was an absolutely wonderful excursion. We did the full day Caines Head paddle and hike and had an awesome time. The weather was flawless and Matt was a great guide pointing out wildlife and telling us about the geology and ecology of the area. Really enjoyable hike up to the fort to look around and the view from the... More

Kat was an amazing guide on our tour that led us into some sea kayaking and hiking. It was a rainy day but we didn't mind. Kat taught us all sorts of information about Alaska and the Seward area. She plucked rockweed from the sea for us to taste. We spotted many eagles and even a harbor seal during our... More

Our group of 9 had a great trip with Sunny Cove Kayak Tours! We chose the all day Caines Point Kayak/Hike trip- a 5 mile kayak, followed by a 2 mile hike to an abandoned military base, lunch, and the return trip to Sunny Cove. The weather was gorgeous, we saw numerous marine animals, and an eagle landed on the... More

We recently visited Alaska and I wanted to do a kayak trip in the Seward area. After reviewing the available websites and reading the TA reviews I decided on Sunny Cove. We picked the early AM 3 hour trip because I was not sure if I wanted to do an all day trip. This turned out to be correct choice... More

We took the Kenai Fjords Tour boat over to Fox Island (we actually were staying on the island, but you don't have to). It started around 10am and we were back around 4:00 pm. Bobby was our guide for the full day kayaking tour around Fox Island. My husband and I had never been kayaking before, but Bobby provided great... More

Hello Natasha B, Thank you so much for sharing your Fox Island Full Day adventure with our TripAdvisor friends! We love getting first time kayakers out, and exploring Fox Island is an amazing first paddle. The island is nearer the outer coast which provides better opportunities for potentially seeing some of the local larger marine wildlife. It's great you saw... More

Family of 5 did 3 hour Lowell Point trip with Kelly as our wonderful guide. She was a positive, informative and enjoyable guide. She knew a plethora of information about wildlife, fauna, and terrain. We saw dolphins, salmon swimming up stream and sea otter. Initially we signed up for 8 hour Kyack & hike tour but the weather was too... More

Did the 8 hour tour (10 mile kayak and 2 mile hike). Jack was our guide and he was great. Although it sounds like a lot it was not physically demanding. The pace is casual. We went thru the abandoned Fort Mcgilvery. Very interesting. Our 18 year old daughter loved it. A strong penlight flashlight was nice to have to... More

JD and Bobby were fantastic guides, friendly and knowledgable about kayaking and Resurrection Bay. We saw bald eagles, harbor seals, salmon, held jellyfish and hiked through the rainforest at Tonsina Point. We went for a 3 hour tour first thing in the AM when the water was calm.
