I had such a great experience on my 1/2 day kayak trip on Discovery Bay in Seward, AK. Sunny Cove was great. They provide all the gear you need to be able to enjoy your time. We saw sea otters, bald eagles, spawning salmon and had just a great day. We got back just in time for the weather to... More

We had a fabulous time cruising the cove. The friendly guides made sure we were comfortable with the equipment and technique before we headed out. We put in and hiked along the shore where waterfalls cascaded down to the sea. Everyone had a great time.

We had a great experience our first time sea kayaking. The guides were very patient and helpful and very knowledgeable. It was a cool, cloudy day but we had a wonderful time. The meal at Fox Island was very good, also.

A friend and I did the Caines Day trip with Danny and had the best time! The weather wasn't the greatest but We still managed to see sea otters, bald eagles, seals and salmon. The hike was also very educational as Danny told us about the bunkers built in the mountain. Would definitely recommend this trip to just about anyone,... More

I was working in Alaska this past summer about an hour away from Seward, so on my days off I would usually hitch hike there and take adventure tours. One of my favorites was sea kayaking. I set up a tour through Adventure Tours and the woman that owns the company and sets up the tours was really nice. We... More

We went on an early morning kayak to Tonsina point. We were given full instruction and the guide was great . After arriving at the point the guide took us to a bridge over a river which was full of salmon, it was amazing!

The kayaking trip was one of the highlights of our trip to Alaska. Forest, our guide, made our trip fun, educational and interesting. We had never been kayaking, and Forest gave us good direction on how to kayak, and we took right to it. We felt confident in our ability with Forest there to guide us. He showed an interest... More

My wife and I were on the last outing of the season. It was raining quite hard for much of the time on water but who cares when you're properly attired and with the skirt on your kayak, nice gloves and boots they provide, etc.. Our guide gave excellent instructions (which we didn't need so much) prior to the outing... More

We were originally not going to go kayaking because we had a poor experience with a company called Miller's Landing. We were so discouraged by our visit there we almost didn't go kayaking at all. Luckily we ended up going with Sunny Cove and had a wonderful time. The guides, Jen and John, were very knowledgeable and kind. They were... More
