Late season trip and we caught our limit. We each caught two halibut over 25lbs, two yellow eyes, one lingcod. We shipped over 50lbs of fish home. We saw three whales, otters, Dall sheep, puffin, sea lions etc...great wildlife sightings were a bonus. The crew cleaned our fish on the return saving us time and money at the dock! Our... More

Our party of four went on a day long halibut-lingcod combo trip on the Crackerjack, a six fisherman charter. We were lucky to fish with a great couple from Wyoming which just made a great trip even better. Our captain's name was Jeff. Sorry Jeff...I forgot your last name, but will never forget the fishing trip you took us on!... More

We took a two day trip with Captain Andy and his unbelievably able mate, Oksana. Captain Andy knew just where to take us to catch a bunch of halibut and silver salmon. He runs a tight ship and will not hesitate to tell you where to stand, when to reel and when to jump. What fun! If you can manage... More

We went on a small boat half day salmon fishing trip. There were 6 of us from 2 different groups on a small boat, maybe 22 feet, but I am no expert. Terry, our captain, was cool and mellow. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. It took us about an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes to get to... More

Went out on Voyager with Capt Andy and his deck hand ( sorry I cannot remember her name) but she's awesome on 30 Jun 2013. Both were outstanding and did everything to make our trip great. My first Charter out of Seward. Have been on several out of Valdez, Homer, and Deep Creek. This crew and boat ranked in the... More

We had a 4 person trip aboard the Crackerjack with Captain Nik. We had told him we wanted to try for halibut and salmon. He picked a perfect spot and we went away that day with a limit of halibut including one just over 100 lbs and several tasty silver salmon. Despite a lull in the bite that sent all... More

Thank you to Andy, Keani and Ocsana for a great and memorable fishing trip. I HIGHLY recommend this fishing trip to all. First of all the captain is not only a captain but also a trainer so you can be assured of your safety on his boat. The crew was fun and very hard working. They called me by name... More

I fish A LOT so it takes a lot to impress me when it comes to charter operations, and these guys blew me away. Crackerjack Charters is simply a step above the rest of the fleet. The attention to detail, quality of equipment and knowledge of the fishery all exceeded any expectations I had!! Capt. Nik was a ton of... More

My son and I have been in Seward for a week now, and I am fairly certain that CrackerJack charters is the best operation. Our captain, Jeff, was super competent and made our day enjoyable despite the choppy seas. We all caught great fish.

I've fished Crackerjack a couple of times. The high level of professionalism of captain and crew is unsurpassed in Seward or anywhere else. The boat, equipment and fishing tackle are top notch, clean and well maintained. Best charter operator I ever fished with, anywhere. Absolutely should be your first choice here.
