This park is a great place to set up your tents, two tents per site are allowed. The views are spectacular, the water is wonderful and one can walk to most attractions in town from the park. There is a great playground for the children and the trail is lovely to walk. An inexpensive stay in Seward!

We spent several days in Seward and enjoyed walking about town. One pleasant are is the Waterfront Park. A very nice walking path from the Sealife Center, Zudi's Cafe, camping area, and RV park, is all very pleasant, leading up to the harbor and many related businesses. I recommend for a pleasant evening walk.

We had no idea what to expect when pulling in at 3pm on July 5th (1 day after the race). However, we were delighted to find many spaces available. It is a first come, first serve waterfront RV park that looks more like a RV parking lot. I recommend driving around to find the site that you like before committing... More

The good first: Location, location, location. For mountain views, water views, and people-watching, this can't be beat. Now the not-so-good. Since it is first-come-first-served, and since there are fewer sites than people who want to stay here, it is competitive to get the best sites. If you want a site with electric, on the waterfront, forget about it. You may... More

We took a walk along the water after arriving from Anchorage. It was a beautiful walk and we enjoyed watching the sea otters in the water.

Lots of the U.S. has waterfronts, and no parks. Seward has planned a great destination at no dollars. We like that one parks and explore. What's not to like?

We walked from our ship in the harbor to downtown Seward via the main roads exploring as we went. We wanted a different view on the way back, so we walked along the waterfront path. It was a beautiful and relaxing view. It truly made us think Seward would be a great place to stay for more than the one... More

Iditarod is one of the Seward Waterfront Parks. It is the furthest to the south and the smallest with dry camping only, no tent, just 10-ish RV parking space. What it is lacking was made up for with its awesome view. However, this year they have a nasty camp host. We felt harassed, intimidated and discriminated by him. Perhaps it... More
