My wife, kids, and I went on the Kenai Fjords Tours. What a wonderful trip. As we left port we saw several bald eagles. During the trip we were able to spot seals, otters, puffins (sea bird), and whales. The glaciers were an incredible site. While viewing the glacier with Dall Sheep on the slopes above the glacier calved and... More

After going on a 3 day backpacking trip in Denali National Park, my friend and I planned to have a relaxing day in Seward. We went with the 8.5 hour tour and boy, was it breathtaking. We got to see so much in a day. Fjords, glaciers, birds, seals, orcas, islands, and ended with a buffet dinner on Fox Island.... More

I worked for KFT, so I might be a little biased but I took several Fox Island Dinner Cruises as well as a Northwestern Glacier tour last summer and was very impressed. We saw Humpback whales, otters, seals, puffins, many other seabirds, and Orcas. The weather was a little crappy, but it was still fun. The food service on the... More

From the time we left the dock to the time we returned it was an incredible journey. The wonderful views, the wildlife, the crew - everything was perfect. We were blessed with great weather and the ride was very smooth. We saw plenty of Orca whales, Dall's Porpoise, Sea Lion, Common Murre, and many other birds. The captain (Reene Audette)... More

The captain and crew were great. We went out on a drizzly day but that’s not the captains’ fault. We enjoyed the experience. As a service they took our heavy baggage to our cruise ship. Our baggage was in the hall way by our room when we arrived.

We booked this trip based on the recommendation of my sister-in-law who went the year earlier. What an amazing day. A true highlight of our two weeks in Alaska. We were actually on the last Northwestern Tour of the season and ended up with a beautiful sunny and fairly calm day. The captain seemed to enjoy being out there as... More

I heard from travelers that this was the best tour hands down. They were right! The captain took her time making sure that we saw all the nature we could. We saw two whales with one even coming up to the boat and rolling over before swimming away. So beautiful! Be sure to dress warm. The winds off the ocean... More

On 17 Sep 2014, I went for the Kenai Fjords 6 hours cruise with high expectation. When I arrived Seward from Anchorage via their bus, I was warned that the seas may be rough and I may not be able to view the glacier sites. I have a choice of canceling, change day or going. Canceling and change day is... More

A thrilling day on the water. So many marine animals-my favorite are the steller seals. The captain and narrator of the cruise was awesome. Being up close to the Holgate Gacier was cool.

Incredible! Spectacular! Amazing! I got extremely lucky while they boarded me on a wrong ferry (obviously that can happen..). I got to stay on the longer tour and ended up watching the mother and a baby humpback whales breaching out of the water next to the boat for 45 minutes. The captain made the choice to stay out later than... More
