Our small-group tour was amazing! Two crew, and only 14 people on board....and we saw at least 4 humpback whales, 3 orcas, at least 6 dall porpoises, about 5 harbor seals, 4 sea otters, at least 10 sea lions, plus more puffins and eagles than I could keep track of! Our captain was great at spotting the wildlife, and I... More

A fabulous day out. We had 13 passengers and 2 crew onboard much nicer than the big boats with 200+. We saw loads of wildlife including many whales. The captain Tanya was first class she was really good at spotting the wildlife. A little bit pricier than the big boats but worth every penny. You simply must do this trip... More

We thought a trip in a small boat might be worth the extra money , but having done both on this vacation it really wasn't . The two crew members were very good and did the best they could , but we would really recommend saving money and having a better experience on the larger boats . They charge a... More

This was the highlight of our month-long Alaskan vacation, and it was very reasonably priced. Our captain, Lindsey (?), was wonderful. She found so many humpback and orca whales that we almost became blase about seeing them. Also saw plenty of sea lions, sea otters, eagles, puffins and many other animals. She also took us really close up to a... More

The best tour of our trip to Alaska and the highlight of the trip for many in our group. Lindsey and Bill were terrific. We saw a humpback whale, orcas, otters, bald eagles, puffins and of course the setting with glacier calving and all. Enjoy@

This tour was on a smaller boat with 16 tourists, a captain and a crewman. We departed the Seward harbor and went to the Hogate Glacier. The round trip took about 8 hours, but the ride was smooth and we saw all the wildlife listed above. The captain told us a lot about these animals and spent time waiting for... More

What a wonderful day! Our Capt,Jeff and his mate James were delightful and very knowledgeable. Our fellow passengers, about 12 of us, were all friendly and polite. Our morning weather was fine, we saw eagles and otters in the harbor and soon in open water we had a small pod of Dall Porpoises riding our bow wave, so much fun!... More

It was important to me to find a tour on a smaller boat versus the big ones. Our party of seven 30-something adults appreciate the personal touch and ability to speak with and learn from the captain. Lindsey and Nick were great- super informative and friendly. Additionally, because we had to fit in a four hour ride to the glacier,... More

My husband, grown daughter and her friend wanted a smaller boat experience for visiting the fjords and we hit the jackpot with this trip. It was a fantastic experience in spite of the rain. But we were prepared with lots of layers (yep, it's pretty cold near the glaciers) and rain gear. That allowed us to be on deck to... More

I highly recommend going with a small boat tour vs. the larger yacht-sized tours with 50-100 people. Our nimble boat and awesome captain was able to easily maneuver the small boat (15 people) to entice dolphins to play in our wake and follow whales and dolphins. She also let us stay and watch 2 humpbacks come up for air for... More
