Owner description: We are a Seward, Alaska based guiding and hiking company focused on providing affordable tours in the Exit Glacier area of Kenai Fjords National Park. We have been running our hiking tours out of Seward for five years now, and we are the only company in town offering guided glacier tours. Our tours allow adventurous folks to ice climb and hike directly on the surface of this magnificent natural attraction. We also offer a cheap ride to Exit Glacier from Seward via an hourly, eco-friendly $10 shuttle. The rangers at the park offer free tours of the lower area 3 times a day.

Close to our hotel was Exit Glacier so, we decided to stop in. The guide was very knowledgeable. The trip itself was also educational.

We didn't use guide services, just got to Visitor center and get some information, and began our way to glacier summit, it was wonderful sunny day, first mile up we enjoyed with lush greenery, and amazing views of surroundings, but then it was hard to my wife go up and our stop for rest were often and prolonged, finally about after 3... This attraction is "Free." It is amazing to see a glacier up close. It is must for experienced hikers and novice ones too. Wear shoes for walking and for some light climbing. The end of the trail is well worth it. It is also a good idea to have bear spray with you just in case. I did not see... More

This shuttle service picked us up at our hotel since it was on the way to the glacier. The trip was planned to coincide with the start of a guided tour by a park guide. This was so worthwhile regarding all the information about where the glacier once was vs. where it is now, old vs. new growth, animal &... More

We took the helicopter ice-climbing tour with Exit Glacier Guides in June of 2014. We took many trips during our 15 day vacation to Alaska. This tour was by far my favorite tour that we took. We went up to Godwin Glacier with our guide Trevor, who was absolutely top notch. He was funny, and was very knowledgeable about the... More

We did the ice climbing excursion with Steven the first week of September. We have no experience ice climbing and Steven was so thorough and informative in all aspects. During the hike up he gave us lots of info on Alaska and all the flora and fauna in the area, just as good as a ranger led hike. The climbing... More

Exit Glacier Guides are great. We had taken their shuttle service many times to Exit Glacier and as such got talking about the ice climb tour they do. I was a little apprehensive about being lowered into a cravas that I would then have to climb out however, I decided to do it and I am so glad that I... More

We didn't do the hike but we stopped and took some pictures with the glacier in the background. It was absolutely beautiful and well worth the stop!

I did the guided glacier hike at Exit Glacier and it was a fantastic experience being on the ice. So much fun! The glacier itself and the views are stunning, and the hike was fun even if it was hard work. You need to be in decent shape to do this because it's uphill most of the way there and... More

This will be one of the best days out, that my wife and I have done in many years. We went ice climbing which was terrific. Our guides were very attentive to our safety and yet still made this a fun experience.
