We have been running our hiking tours out of Seward for five years now, and we are the only company in town offering guided glacier tours. Our tours allow adventurous folks to ice climb and hike directly on the surface of this magnificent natural attraction. We also offer a cheap ride to Exit Glacier from Seward via an hourly, eco-friendly $10 shuttle. The rangers at the park offer free tours of the lower area 3 times a day. « less

My daughter and I hiked to Exit Glacier with our guide, Dakota. We then put on crampons and the three of us explored the glacier. The experience was exceptional. Dakota even offered to take us to a nice cave at the opposite side of the glacier. We were the first customers to see the ice cave. WOW!!! Being in the... More

Shanna (I hope I'm spelling her name right) was the BEST! She was so patient and if she wasn't m guide, I don't know if I could have done the ice climbing. (Horrible fear of heights) We hiked up to the glacier. It was a moderate hike. Shanna and Steve were very informative and we felt safe the whole time... More

We did the glacier hike with my parents, Piper and Henry took very good care of us! The trail is well marked, it was great to have someone point things out and explain plants and views along the way. We were given backpacks(crampons, water, helmet) and snacks for the way. The hike was fairly easy for someone in good shape,... More

We had the most amazing experience from start to finish with Exit Glacier Guides. They answered all my questions promptly, handled my reservation including extra transportation assistance with grace and provided one of the most fabulous adventures on our trip to Alaska. They were totally professional and kept safety at the forefront of our trip. Our guide was great, he... More

Had a really enjoyable day on the crevasse-climbing trip with guides Steve and Dakota. The protocols seemed very safe. All of the anchors were over-redundant, and the screws/biners/webbing/etc were visibly in near-new condition. The technical gear for the clients was obviously well used, but modern, clean, dry, and totally functional. If your hands get cold easily, consider bringing ski gloves... More

From the moment we walked in to the Exit Glacier Tour office in Seward we felt welcomed! Our guides were very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly all along the way. We were told what to expect and they delivered. For us, hiking on Exit Glacier remains one of the absolute highlights of our time in Alaska.

Thanks for a great hike to Exit Glacier! How cool it was to strap on crampons and go walking across a glacier. Most of the six hour trip is spent hiking up and down the trail, but guides Kevin and Trevor made the journey fun and adapted well to the group's varying abilities. This isn't an advanced hike, but it... More

We took the shuttle from the Seward Windsong Lodge for the 1-2 hour tour. It was a short ride and an easy walk, our tour guide Same was knowledgeable and very nice. Great scenery, amazing photo ops of the glacier and surrounding landscapes. Be on the lookout for Dall Sheep up on the mountains and bring your binocular because without... More

We used the shuttle service with just a small window of time to explore the area. We found the staff friendly and very helpful.

We booked an ice climbing trip with Steve, and it was worth ever penny! So amazing--one of the top experiences during our three week vacation. Definitely recommend.
