Unfortunately we didn't see any marine life, we did see 2 birds on our afternoon kayak. It was a beautiful clear sunny day, however beware it gets very cold in the afternoon coming back against the breeze. I only rated it 3 stars as I did ask which would be a good tour to see marine life and whilst there... More

My husband and I booked the Aialik Glacier and Wildlife Day Trip. Expensive but, it was the best activity over our 11 day trip. Our guide Tess was wonderful, patient and above all made sure we were all safe. We are novice kayakers and never felt uneasy. The day starts early with a 3-3.5 hour water taxi ride with others... First of all, the people working there were so nice and accommodating, I felt like I was back at home (Small town in Ontario). Amazingly, this didn't compromise any aspect of receiving efficient and reliable service at all. We had an excellent ride out to the kayak start point, seeing whales, sea lions, and many puffins. Once we reached the... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 hour kayaking trip. Our guide "Emily" was very knowledgeable and personable . I only wished we had more kayaking time and less prep. I'd give Emily a 10 out of 10. Thanks!

Took the overnight Aialik Bay kayaking trip. It was an awesome experience! The ferry ride over to our kayaking and camp site was amazing and then our final destination was even more amazing! Aialik Glacier was beautiful. The next day we went to Pederson Glacier and Lagoon, also beautiful. Our guide was awesome and so was all of the staff... More

We spent an extraordinary day! We are a Belgian family and we love travel over the world ,together, my husband and our three daughters (20, 20 and 21 years old). This day will forever remain in our memories. The beauty of the site, the reflection of the mountains on the water, the lights, the sounds of the ice breaks, the... More

Trent and our guide for the day were fantastic. Trip with young kids (boys 11 and 9), so we were private. Our boys had a great time. We were all first-time kayakers, and that was no problem at all. After a little bit of bumping into each other the first few minutes, the instruction we received made sense and we... More

We did the full day kayak trip to Aialik Bay. The trip took about ten hours total, including almost three hours each way on a water taxi and just over three hours kayaking near the Aialik Glacier (3-4 miles each way from the water taxi landing spot). This operator prides itself on having small groups with only 1 or 2... More

We spent an amazing day on the water with Emily paddling close to shore and soaking in the sights and sounds of the bay. The highlight was a swirling school of salmon under our kayaks close to the haul out spot for lunch. We couldn't have asked for a more enjoyable day.

If you do anything in Alaska this is the trip you should take. The staff were helpful, friendly and safety conscious. Our family (11 and 13 yr old) were welcomed immediately and our guide Tess made every bit of our day perfect. She made sure we had just the right gear and clothing with us so we'd be comfortable. Admittedly... More
