Our's was the full day kayak trip at Aialik Bay.....Lot's of questions??.Are we too old for this activity? Wife and I both late 60's.Is it a little too dangerous for the 2 of us who are NOT kayakers? It's expensive, should we spend the money? Not an easy decision......We loved it. Our best day of a great 2 week active vacation... More

My husband and I went on the Aialik overnight trip in June for our 5 year anniversary and it was incredible, a trip that we will never forget. There are so many wonderful things to say about the trip. First the staff, I really admire their professionalism and kindness. They communicate with you well before the trip to ensure you... More

At the beginning of the summer friends and I took KAW up on their locals discount and jumped into some kayaks! We had a blast kayaking from Lowell Point to Tonsina and back. The guides were very knowledgable about all the wildlife we saw, seabirds, eagles, sheep, etc. and we even learned about local history including the "ghost forrest" left... More

We took our family, all over 22, on this adventure. The trip out was fabulous! Saw whales, dolphins, Sea Lions, puffins, and so much more! The guide was so excited and wanted to teach us all about the geography of the area, as well as make sure we saw as many animals as possible. The kayaking adventure was unbeatable! We... More

We were among 4 kayaks in our group, one being our guide, to go to Aialik Bay full day trip that day. The weather was perfect. Our guide and ferry driver were fantastic, knowledgeable and let us stop to see all of the sights and sea wildlife. We saw orca, seals, otters, bald eagles and ate our picnic lunch in... More

My husband and I went to Alaska in August of 2013 and I have to say that kayaking with Kayak Adventures was one of the best choices we made! We chose the half day trip from 8-12 to avoid the water being too choppy which helped to make it a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. The guides were very... More

My husband and I were first-time ocean kayakers but knew we wanted to plan our whole Alaskan honeymoon around a kayaking/camping trip... so we searched high and low, read tons of reviews, and decided to book with KAW in January for our June "Aialik Overnight" trip. Long story short, KAW did not disappoint: they provided us with a great packing... More

My wife and another couple (retirement age) had a fantastic day this past June on our Glacier adventure. Our guide, younger than our children, Daniel was outstanding. He made sure that we had a great and gently nudged us along as we overcame our apprehension . We had a great lunch at the base of the Glacier. This trip was... More

My wife and I went to Alaska for our 10th wedding anniversary. We spent a week camping in Denali and then drove down to Seward to spend another week on an Alaskan cruise. I couldn't decide if I wanted to spend the extra money to go kayaking while in Seward and finally decided that it would be a "once in... More

Our kayaking trip to Aialik Glacier with Kayak Adventures Worldwide was probably the single biggest highlight of an Alaska trip that was filled with highlights (getting up close & personal with dozens of brown bears in Katmai; seeing moose, caribou, grizzlies and the beautiful Alaska range in Denali; hiking the Harding Icefield Trail; and cruising to Hubbard Glacier & Glacier... Thank you so much for your review! I am so glad that you enjoyed the trip and will pass the praise on to Daniel. I wanted to connect with you regarding the other paddlers that were closer to the glacier. We will typically go between 1/3 - 1/2 mile from the glacier face, depending on conditions. Going any closer than... More
