Kayak Adventures Seward strikes the perfect balance when it comes to a half day tour like the one I went on. The business is small enough to have that personal touch that made me feel like my specific needs were addressed, yet large enough to have the experience and gear that assured me that the trip would progress comfortably and... As it was our first day being in Alaska, we tried to find something which skips our jetlag, so we have choosen to do some "sports". We joined a halfday paddling tour and the experience was just great. The tour had only five "paddlers" including us and the tour guide. We never had any dangerous situation, it was just relaxing... My trip to the Aialik Glacier last summer far exceeded my expectations. Kayaking is the best way to hear the glacier snap and pop, and come close to marine life such as seals, otters, and birds. We even saw humpbacks on our way back. The staff and guides were friendly, professional, and knowledgeable from start to finish. The small group... More

We went kayaking to Aialik glacier in August 2013 and it was excellent trip. Boat ride there and back was fun too with sightings of humpback, birds and sea lions. We were really lucky, since we hit nice warm sunny day, photos are superb! For the several days preceding our trip weather was bad and boats were no leaving Seward... More

I went out on a 3-day trip with KAW over summer 2013 (I think it was August). The guides are very nice and helpful for all skill levels. The gear they provide was of good quality (not like some guiding company's that offer-up crap-gear which should have been retired seasons-ago). The scenery (Aliak Bay) was spectacular. We (my fellow patrons... More

The folks at Kayak Adventures made my trip to Alaska even more unforgettable than I could have imagined! The day kayaking the Aialik bay was absolutely perfect. The water taxi ride was breathtakingly lovely and the captain even let me hang my head over the bow and watch the porpoises from just a couple of feet away!!! The time in... More

Our trip was perfect from start to finish. Getting gear and paperwork completed was easy and efficient. Boat trip was enjoyable, with a pleasant pause for whale watching. There was plenty of information given about the abundant wildlife we saw. Our kayak guide was fun, informative and conscientious. He was especially good with our 10 year old son, who had... More

We were trying to cover as much of AK as we could in our week up north and am so glad we decided on Seward and to view the wildlife and glaciers up close! The day started with delicious muffins from a local bakery and great company of the guides who were all full of personality. I must say we... More
