I went with this company in 2010 to swim with dolphins and see manta rays and it was such a great experience that I returned, 4 years later, to go with them again (in fact, I did nothing but go out with them, day and night, almost the entire time I was there, it is THAT wonderful!). The owners are... More

We sailed with Captain China on this particular day, and had a wonderful adventure. He ensured that we were able to spend time with dolphins, even stopping on a couple of occasions to allow us to enjoy the humpback whales that were still in the area. He was extremely informative, and educational. I especially appreciate the morning prayer prior to... More

Ronin was very good at explaining about the dolphins and whales. the crew was... More

While other tour boats were crowded, we were lucky enough to only have 8 on our boat this particular night. At the manta ray snorkeling / dive site, we weren't the largest/most luxurious boat, but we certainly weren't on the smallest. Staff was helpful, with snacks and a warm shower on board. The actual snorkeling experience was thrilling. Although the... More

Great experience swimming with Dolphins in the wild! Crew on boat were fantastic, with captain China very good at getting us into the dolphins routes, meaning the dolphins were swim right through our group without having to swim to far out and swimming after them. During the experience muffins, fruit, crisps and drinks were readily available. Fantastic day, highly recommended.

A friend of mine recommended doing a "dolphin tour" and I resisted because I feared it would be a touristy, "party" boat that chased down a dolphin pod and invaded their world. However, Sunlight on Water was recommended to me by a friend who did several trips with them a few years ago. She said they had great respect for... More

I can't begin to explain how special this evening was! The crew was so attentive to the needs and concerns of everyone. They were professional, friendly, and made us feel extremely welcome. We seemed to be where everyone else wanted to be! The divers brought the mantas to us. I've never seen anything so spectacular. Make Sunlight on the Water... More

We travelled with SunLight On Water two years ago and returned on the strength of our past experience with them. Two years ago we gave them 5 stars and advised China Mike of some slight flaws in his business which he listened to and acted upon which was really impressive. China and his wife run a great business on a... More

This is an excellent trip with superb crew. The boat went out to the manta ray spot - taking in breaching humpback whales and a stunning sunset on the way. We then geared up and got into the water and saw the manta rays - they came very close, touching some. The crew photograph the whole experience and load the... More

Best tour we had!! With 4 adults and 1 six year old who was very nervous to get in the water at night, Captain PonoNui, Dusty and Brie made it easy for her to enjoy herself. It was a surreal experience for all. In addition they take complimentery pictures so you can focus on the Mantas and not the best... More
