The company itself was great. Everyone was helpful and friendly and laid back. But for those of you with back, neck, or problems with motion sickness- skip this excursion. First you get on a raft and it takes you to a slightly larger raft. Then that one takes you to the little boat you parasail from. The boats are tiny... More

excellent experience with knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend for anyone. 5 of us went on same trip. We had a blast, 1200' which gives you approx 600' elevation. Great location with parking in the resort with validation of parking.

UFO Parasailing is located at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Kona, which is round about in the center of Ali'i Drive. In addition to bringing a GoPro, which could be brought up during the parasail experience, we also opted for the photo package - $35. My boyfriend and I have been wanting to parasail together for quite some time, and... More

There were 2 guys : one of them was cool and the other was pretty unfriendly. Up there, we felt very safe and relaxed. It was very calm, zen and cool. We saw whales below us. We didn't suffer from vertigo. We didn't feel sick. It was perfect but we would have wanted that it lasts longer. The 2 guys were competent.... More

We opted for the 1200 foot ride. Wow! The harness rig was comfortable and there is an obvious care about safety all through the trip. The bay water was like glass, and unlike Maui that can't run during whale season they can run at Kona. You're harnessed and tethered in, then you sit with bent knees while the chute fills... More

What a blast!! Took the 1200' ride and just loved it! The crew was most excellent and made sure you had a most memorable time. We had a blast from the time we climbed on board the boat till the time we got back off. Can't wait to do it again!!!

After the initial shock, I was thrilled!!! The crew was excellent and understood my fear. My husband had never been so I was being brave for him. I went once decades ago, but just to 200'. 1200' is a bit different. If I can do it, everyone can.

I, along with 3 others girls went to Hawaii on a cruse and happened to find UFO parasail there on the dock. In a few min we were on our way to sell like a bird over Kona. Indescribable... What a gorgeous view... Sea was kinda choppy but didn't hurt the experience for me.

They have a basic sail for the price, and for a little more they take you up to the highest that they can, I think 800-1200 feet. So you are really flying like a bird. No sound, so peaceful and tranquil. Right now whales are everywhere so I would highly recommend doing it until at least May at the latest... More

First time up and I am such a whimp! My daughter and grandson dragged me out kicking and screaming! I came back in crying because it was over. Had to buy the picture pak. Will do this again in a heartbeat! These guys are awesome all the way around!
