Prior to our flight, my wife and I drove around the island the day before visiting the different landmarks. The flight provided a different perspective (with the commentary by the pilot) that added so much more to our experience! A fantastic experience for those wanting to embrace the beauty of the island from a geological and biological point of view!... More

Packing 5 large adults in the cabin of a Bell Helicopter is possible but not comfortable. Almost impossible for the middle seat to take pictures. Daredevil stunts by the pilot are hard on people with motion sickness.

We stayed on the "Big Island" for 8 days. On our second morning, we took the helicopter tour. Timing was perfect because we were able to see everything the island had to offer from the air. This gave us ideas for our following days activities. We saw the active volcano vents and lava flows at very close range. The valleys... More

We're stoked you got the front seat! We wish every one could experience the thrill of being co-pilot, but unfortunately it just isn't possible. We do stand by the aft-facing seats, though. They allow us to put more people in windows than our competitors with similarly-sized helis. Great tip to go early in your trip -- we recommend that, too,... More

It is very expensive but during the tour you realize that compensates each penny payed!!! The main moment of the tour is when you see lava!!!!! Amazing experience!!!! Ask before if there are volcano activity before to schedule the tour!!!

We were able to see flowing lava and the whole island. This was a once in a lifetime experience. The circle island tour was definitely worth it! There is only one seat that has doesn't have a window so the views were amazing. The pilot had over 10,000 hours in the helicopter so you felt super safe with him! They... More

We decided to book this tour for our family of four, and we were blown away! The concierge at our hotel tried to set expectations for seeing lava low, but Paradise far exceeded our expectations. Danny, our pilot, was a true professional and just a great guy. He made us feel safe at all times, even while we were doing... More

Let me start off by stating that I am disabled. I have an above knee amputation. I had no trouble hoping out of my wheelchair and climbing in. So if you are disabled and can transfer well then you should go! We were the 1st flight of the day. We took the 1 and 1/2 to 2 hour tour. It... More

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I really liked our pilot, Kalei. The music soundtrack was great and perfectly timed at points. Did not like the back facing seat and would not utilize a helicopter with a back facing seat again. Also, thought the second hour was rushed even though we had plenty of time to spare.

Aloha and thank you for your review. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed your experience with the Paradise team. We really do pride ourselves on the level of customer care that our staff and pilots take on. As far as the aft-facing seat, we choose this configuration because it allows us to put more people into window seats than... More

Fantastic flight and the pilot, Darren, was truely outstanding.Great knowledge and piloting. Land portion of trip could have been longer, and perhaps more geology on ground as well as discussed. However, a great combination of ground and air. Indeed, the northern flight equaled or exceeded the southern portion in interest and beauty. Kudos to all, including the ground crew, both... More
